UOI: Recycling Center Reflection

Last week, we visited the Recycling Center and learned how plastic bottles and wrappers are collected, pressed into cubes, and turned into new materials like traffic cones, working clothes, and other useful items. This week in class, we reflected on our learning and discussed the recycling process again together.

The children drew the steps they remembered from our visit and then worked together to organize the recycling flow in the correct order. After that, we created a flowchart showing the process from beginning to end. Finally, the students wrote the steps in their own words, showing how recycling helps turn old materials into something new.

This activity helped us review what we saw during the visit and also showed us how important it is to recycle properly. The children were proud to share their drawings, flowcharts, and written steps, showing how much they had learned about caring for the environment.

Dance Lessons Resumed

After a month-long break, we were very excited to resume our dance lessons this week! The children were happy to see our dance teacher again and greeted her with big smiles.

We began by recalling the steps from our dance. At first, some children were unsure, but with practice and encouragement, the movements came back quickly. The class enjoyed moving to the music again, showing energy, rhythm, and teamwork.

It was wonderful to see how much the children remembered and how they supported each other in remembering the steps. Everyone is looking forward to continuing our dance lessons and adding more movements to our routine.

Music Open Day

This week, we celebrated our Music Open Day! The children were very excited to perform and share what they had been learning in music class.

We played the song “Musunde Hiraite” on our melodions. The children showed concentration and confidence as they played together, creating a beautiful sound for our families to enjoy. It was a wonderful moment to see how their practice and teamwork came together in the performance.

We are grateful to our parents for joining us both in person and online. The children felt proud to share their music learning, and it was a joyful way to celebrate our progress together.
