Hello Everyone!

Everywhere we look we can see the trees turned red, brown, yellow, and orange. We can see the fallen leaves dancing in the wind. It’s truly a pretty sight to see. Hope you are enjoying the outdoors and lots of other things this lovely season has to offer and Hope everyone is keeping warm and healthy.

Monthly Theme – Parts of My Body 

This week, we introduced a new theme which is about Parts of my body. Kids learned a new song related to the theme, they moved and dance to the song which also helped them identify parts of their bodies. We played simple games that teach kids about their body parts. This week we focused more on the Parts of the Face. 

Music Lesson

During our music lesson this week kids practiced playing the castanets and bells. We are getting ready for our Christmas show performance, still a long way to go but we believe practice makes progress and that kids will do great.

Gym Lesson

This weeks gym lesson was action packed. Lots of active play that kids love to do this is beneficial for their active growing bodies. They balanced on the colorful steps, jumped on hoops and go through tunnel over and over again. They are getting better at balancing their bodies. They also did the catch a tail, everyones  all time favorite game. 

Outside Free Play 

As kids are growing and as the group is getting bigger, they are getting more active, staying indoors can be challenging, everyone loves running around inside the room or hallways, So that’s why going outside and letting the kids play freely in the nearby parks and get quality free playtime surrounded by nature is our best solution. Now kids get to enjoy walking around the neighborhood that helps them calm down. During our walks kids notice their surroundings and are getting familiar with the area which is amazing, now they know which direction to take going to the park. They can tell if we are almost there or not or if we are heading to the big or small park. Kids like to sing during our walks and we also talk about our monthly theme while walking. Ex. We stop and use our ears to hear a dog barking, we look with our eyes to search for birds or flowers, we walk with our feet etc.
