Nagano Rainbow – School is cool and so are we (April 14th-18th)

Hello Everyone!

This week the kids got more comfortable in class. There was less crying and more happy smiling faces. They felt more at ease being with their new friends and teachers. Everyone has been very diligent in getting themselves familiar with the classroom routine, the rules both inside and outside the classroom and the daily schedules. Everyone was so brave and cool.

PARK / OUTSIDE PLAY

We had lovely weather these days and we enjoyed the outdoors a lot. We went to the nearby park, we walked around the neighborhood and saw lots of lovey flowers and the cherry blossom trees. We also played a lot in the school playground. They especially like playing in the sand.

MONTHLY THEME

This week we started to our monthly theme which is all about colors. We learned a new song related to our theme. Which I will link in below. Kindly watch and sing it at home with the kids.

We also made a rainbow for craft, Kids stamped the different colors on the paper to make the rainbow, its was fun to see them create their masterpieces.

We played games and did sorting to make learning colors much more fun.

MUSIC LESSONS

We also had our first ever Music Lesson for this school year. We met our lovely music teacher and we played during our lesson. We learned to move either fast or slow depending on the beat.

GYM LESSONS

During gym lessons kids had lots of playful physical activity which helps the kids have healthy and strong bodies.

Rainbow did a great job this week. They were all awesome.
