Hello everyone!

Summer is still in full swing, and we’re feeling incredibly fortunate to make the most of it. Water play continues to be one of our all-time favorite activities. This week, we had a blast celebrating Aurora’s and Shooting Star’s with some exciting, fun-filled events! After a long vacation, the first week back felt like a gentle transition. We kept the laid-back vibe going, not quite ready to jump into school mode just yet. Some of the kids even admitted they were still feeling sleepy in the mornings and weren’t too eager to dive into activities just yet! However, we still keep going on.

UOI

We played a fun game of charades, where everyone took turns picked animal from the box. The challenge was to silently act out the animal’s movements or sounds while others tried to guess what it was! And answer some questions from the teachers or from other kids about their habitat.

Phonics

We started by reviewing the letter H before moving on to the letter I. The kids had a great time tracing and circling all the letter I’s, and musical chair game for Aurora. For Shooting Star, we spiced things up with fun games like I Spy Game and Green Light, Red Light, and more. They had so much fun with these activities that they kept asking to play them again!

Water Play

One of our absolute favorites every summer is water play! There’s nothing quite like splashing around, sometimes even playfully soaking the teachers, and feeling the refreshing shower of rain. The quick glimpses of rainbows that follow only add to the magic. It’s a fun-filled experience we all look forward to!
