Dear Parents of G1 & G2. Welcome to our weekly blog, where we share updates and highlights from our school life! This week, we warmly welcomed our new Grade 1 students into the class. We are very excited and look forward to spending a wonderful year together with all of you. We have several exciting events to share!

G1・G2保護者の皆様へ, ウィークリーブログへようこそ。本ブログでは、学校生活の様子や活動の様子をお届けしてまいります。今週は、新しく1年生の児童をクラスに迎えました。私たちはとても嬉しく思っており、皆様とともに素晴らしい一年を過ごせることを楽しみにしております。今週の活動をいくつかご紹介いたします。

First, we held a road safety class, where we invited local community workers to visit our school and share important safety rules and knowledge with the students.

まず、交通安全教室を行いました。地域の方々をお招きし、安全に関するルールや大切な知識について教えていただきました。

Next, we enjoyed our first bus trip to Obuse Park. The students had the opportunity to view the beautiful cherry blossoms and strengthen their friendships through play and shared experiences.

次に、初めてのバス遠足として小布施公園へ行きました。子どもたちは美しい桜を鑑賞しながら、遊びを通して友達との絆を深めることができました。

We also had our first gym and music lessons. Through these introductory sessions, the students learned new things while having a lot of fun.

また、初めての体育と音楽の授業も行いました。導入のレッスンを通して、多くのことを学びながら楽しく活動することができました。

For our inquiry program, we began with the questions: “What do weather patterns look like in Nakano?” and “What do people do in this weather?” The students shared their ideas and went outside for observation. They collected their findings, illustrated them on paper, and presented their ideas to the class.

探究プログラムでは、「中野の天気のパターンはどのようなものか」「このような天気の中で人々はどのように過ごしているのか」という問いからスタートしました。子どもたちは自分の考えを共有した後、実際に外へ出て観察を行いました。観察した内容を紙にまとめ、クラスで発表し合いました。
