In this week’s Inquiry lesson, we continued to expand our understanding of Japanese history by learning about the Jōmon, Yayoi, Muromachi, Edo, Meiji, and other historical periods. Students shared their questions using the Wonder Wall, watched educational videos, and worked collaboratively in teams to create posters. Through this activity, they elaborated on and shared their knowledge of each historical period with their classmates.

今週の探究（Inquiry）の授業では、日本の歴史についての理解をさらに深め、縄文時代、弥生時代、室町時代、江戸時代、明治時代、そしてその他の時代について学びました。子どもたちは「ワンダーウォール」を使って疑問を共有し、動画を視聴した後、チームで協力してポスターを作成しました。この活動を通して、それぞれの時代の歴史について詳しく調べ、クラスメイトに向けて発表しました。

For our gym lesson, the teacher took advantage of the snowy weather and brought the students outside to build a snow base. This activity encouraged teamwork, communication, and careful construction skills. Most importantly, the students enjoyed working together and sharing the experience with their classmates.

体育の授業では、雪を活用して屋外でスノーベース作りを行いました。この活動では、チームワークやコミュニケーション力、そして雪を丁寧に積み上げる工夫が求められました。最終的には、クラスメイトと協力しながら取り組む過程そのものを、子どもたちは楽しむことができました。
