Hi everyone!
This week was a special one because our little ones had a chance to play and meet their Aurora friends from the Minami campus again. We went to a big park altogether and had a blast! Everyone enjoyed this trip and had so much fun collaborating with other classes from different campuses.
We started this kind of activity for this school year so our children could have a chance to meet and get along with other students from different campuses and to familiarize themselves with other ISN campuses.
In our phonics lesson, we learned about the letter P, its sound, and words that begin with it, such as pizza, pirate, persimmon, pineapple, puppet, and park. For our activity, we completed the “Find and Color Letter P” worksheet. Here’s a glimpse of our activity.
In Gym Lesson, Canyon enjoyed mat exercises again this week. Our little ones turned into sweet potatoes on the mat and rolled around. Since we can’t use our hands or feet, it is a good exercise to strengthen our core. Also, we moved forward using our arm strength on the mat with a teacher holding our legs. This is an exercise that you can enjoy at home while having fun.
For our craft, we did scratch art, where students colored a paper with light colors. Then, on top of it, they colored the whole paper black and drew shapes, lines, etc., using a toothpick.
One of our youngsters turned 4 this month. She had fun at her spooky birthday party at school! The birthday celebrants looked for the skeleton’s body parts, and then we danced a skeleton dance.
Have a great long weekend, everyone!
