A WORLD OF ORNAMENTS- Rainforest Nov. 17th-21st

Hello and welcome! Exciting things are happening in our class!

We recently finished decorating our Christmas tree as part of a festive decorating contest. Our young ones worked diligently to create a variety of ornaments, including a globe, ribbons made from origami paper, national fruits, traditional dresses, and flags from different countries. It was an amazing and enriching experience for them, allowing them to explore their creativity while learning about different cultures. They truly enjoyed every moment of the activity and took pride in seeing their beautiful decorations displayed on the tree!

In our phonics lesson, we explored the consonant blends “sp” and “sl.” Our little ones eagerly thought of words that begin with these blends and confidently wrote them on the board. It was wonderful to see their creativity and growing understanding of sounds, as they practiced both pronunciation and spelling while having fun with their friends.

Aside from practicing for their stage play, our youngsters are also preparing for their music performance. They are enthusiastically learning to play the pianica and other musical instruments, developing both their musical skills and confidence. It’s delightful to see them focus, enjoy the melodies, and support each other as they get ready to showcase their performance.

In the gym lesson, the Rainforest students practiced mat exercises. They tried handstands against the wall, log rolls, forward rolls, and backward rolls. Some of them felt a little unsure at first, wondering if they could do it, but with encouragement from their friends and support from the teachers, they were able to succeed — and they looked so proud and happy!

Wishing everyone a wonderful long weekend! See you next week!
