ISN had a party for our November and December birthday boys and girls! Happy 4th Birthday! We had a Stack-A-Cake Tower game. It toppled over the first time, but we did not give up. Stack it from the biggest to the smallest, someone suggested. Finally, a towering tall birthday cake!
Christmas Craft
Canyon made a Christmas Tree craft. There were several step to complete the craft. First, we trace our names and drew love hearts and snowflakes. Next, we planned our colours and outlined the tree with “dark green and light green”. The next step was to paste the greeting pictures and stickers. Finally, the best part which Canyon was really skillful at. Each student carefully threaded the ribbons through the holes. Well-done Canyon!
Winter Show Countdown!
We are polishing up out act. The big actions, the dancing, smiles, bells and castanets are all coming together beautifully! The Shoemakers and the Elves play pamphlet has been printed out, and yes, dear Parents, these are the lines! No matter how the show will turn out on Dec 17, we teachers are already SO PROUD of our dear students! Canyon has come such a long way! They are now putting up a play in English, playing musical instruments and best of all – feeling good, great, excited, wonderful and enjoying themselves!
