The preparation for the Christmas Show is still underway. Our young actors are doing their best to tell their story through the play they will present in December. After working on their lines and acting, they are now focused on choreographing their dance numbers and practicing their songs. The planning process is fun and filled with laughter. While there are some debates, the children are principled and good communicators, so they compromise and make decisions together unanimously.

The whole class just started looking at their third Line of Inquiry: Ways to incorporate feelings and experiences into a story. To practice this, our inquirers grouped themselves into several groups and created their stories using the knowledge they had acquired from their Line of Inquiries 1 and 2. Everyone is working together with their respective teams to come up with a lovely story.

Also this week, the whole class made a discovery: Cherry Blossoms in Autumn. While walking to the park, our little inquirers stumbled upon a cherry blossom which was blossoming. Everyone found it strange but felt good seeing the beautiful flowers. We went back to school with the questions in our head: Why?

It is gonna be December soon, the weather will be cooler, colder even. Let’s enjoy and make good memories this winter!
