This unit is all about expressing and thinking about our feelings. Students are learning to think about how they feel and share their emotions with others. Thank you to Waterfall students for sharing their Show and Tell items with everyone. Waterfall Students are excellent inquirers as well and have been asking very thoughtful questions. Recently, we have learned about interesting and scary tomato skins from Grandma’s garden, cool backpacks that will be filled with something soft and that some families started the Halloween festivities early! It is exciting to learn about what makes students think about their big feelings and bravely communicate them with everyone!

Speaking of Show and Tell, soon Waterfall students will embark on their first full performances together in the Enormous Turnip. So, our little thinkers looked at the play and noticed that we needed an enormous prop. They communicated nicely and worked together to grow the turnip big and fat.

Waterfall enjoyed a wonderful Halloween week! Students worked together to weave the ghosts and crumple the ghouls that haunt the halls! They decorated the school and decided to share them for the Halloween Party!

What a fun Halloween party it was! Students proudly showed off the costumes that they discussed with excitement all week long. Thank you to all Waterfall parents for joining in the frightening festivities!

Have a nice weekend!
