There are animals all around if you know where to look! The LOI 1 students are learning that There are many animals. This week students looked at several animals and thought about whether they live in the water, sky or on land. They even noticed that it is snowy where the polar bears live. They explored the land animals to start of this unit are learning to say- “It’s a tiger. It’s on land.” After students thought about what kind of animals they saw and where each one might live, they placed each animal on the land on the UOI wall.

Waterfall students made cute animal finger puppets to dance with while they sing “Walking in the Jungle.” They can also use the puppets to become risk-takers and role-play as a monkeys, frogs, toucans, tigers and more!
