MONTHLY DRILLS AT SCHOOL- Rainforest Sept. 22nd-26th

Monthly drills at school are very important because they help to reduce confusion, panic, and any disorderly behavior among the children. They also help familiarize teachers and other responsible individuals with their roles during an emergency. This month’s fire drill was special because we had visitors from Nagisa Fire Station. They taught and explained the do’s and don’ts, as well as the safety precautions to take when a fire occurs. We also had a demonstration on how to use a fire extinguisher properly and had a chance to take a closer look at the fire truck to see what’s inside.

Three of our youngsters turned 6 this month! They enjoyed their birthday party with other celebrants from different classes as they watched a magic show and received their birthday cards. Have a blast!

MUSIC CLASS

In music lessons, we have already begun practicing the songs for the Christmas Show.
The children will perform “On Christmas Morning” using only pianicas, and they will also play an ensemble of “A hasty Santa Claus” with pianicas, drums, woodblocks, triangles, bells, and castanets. Some instruments are new experiences for the children, so they tried playing them and chose which one they would like to perform. With the teamwork of the Rainforest class, we hope to create a beautiful harmony together.

TENNIS

Tennis lessons, which had taken a break over the summer, have finally started again!
The children were overjoyed to hear that they could enjoy their favorite lessons once more. They had fun catching balls after one bounce from the coach and playing “rolling tennis” with a partner. When it turned into a team match, everyone huddled together, shouted their cheer, and showed great teamwork!

Have a good weekend everyone!
