OCTOBER ADVENTURES- Rainforest October 20th-24th

Hello everyone!

We had a fun-filled week of stories, play, and celebrations!

Our little ones had so much fun watching the puppet show. The story was about a man and a kind grandma. The man was asked to cut down a tree to make food, but before he could, three little acorns appeared and offered him three wishes so he wouldn’t have to harm the tree. The children watched with wide eyes and big smiles as the puppets moved and talked, bringing the magical story to life. Everyone laughed and clapped at the end—the kids truly enjoyed the show!

Everyone had a great time playing at the park. They enjoyed the warm sunshine, especially since the weather has started to get colder. It was the perfect day to be outside, running around and having fun. They collected shiny acorns from the ground and tossed colorful Autumn leaves into the air, laughing as the leaves danced around them. It was a beautiful day to enjoy nature and the changing season.

We had a wonderful time celebrating the birthday party this month! Three of our youngsters turned 6, and everyone was so excited to celebrate together. The children enjoyed listening to the story of a friendly witch named Wanda and even joined in her magic spell, saying, “Bubble, bubble, cookie trouble!” with big smiles. After the story, we all danced to a fun Halloween song, with the Rainforest class leading their younger friends. It was such a joyful celebration full of laughter, music, and Halloween fun!

We’re enjoying crafting for our big Halloween event. In class, we made piñatas as a group activity. A piñata is a kind of decorative box originating from Spain and Latin America. Each group came up with their own design and worked together to cover balloons with newspaper and colored paper. Even with glue-covered hands, everyone was engrossed, exclaiming “This is fun!” as they worked, and four wonderful piñatas were completed!

Thank you for reading our blog! We hope you enjoyed it and wish everyone a fun and relaxing weekend!
