Our Grade 3 students visited the Suntory Natural Mineral Water Factory in Azumino as part of their Unit of Inquiry, “How the World Works.”

During the visit, students explored how clean natural water from the Japanese Alps is collected, filtered, and bottled using simple machines and careful systems. They were fascinated by the machines that filled and sealed each bottle so quickly!

Students also learned how Suntory protects the forests and environment to keep the water pure for future generations.

It was an exciting and meaningful experience that connected science, technology, and sustainability — showing students how people and nature work together to make something we use every day.

💧 3年生 UOI見学：サントリー天然水　安曇野工場

3年生は「世界のしくみ（How the World Works）」の探究学習の一環として、サントリー天然水 安曇野工場を見学しました。

見学では、日本アルプスのきれいな天然水がどのように集められ、ろ過され、安全にボトルに詰められるのかを学びました。ボトルが機械でとても速く詰められていく様子に、子どもたちはびっくりしていました！

また、サントリーが森や環境を守る活動を通して、未来のためにきれいな水を保つ努力をしていることも学びました。

この見学を通して、科学・技術・持続可能性のつながりを感じ、自然と人々が協力して毎日の生活に欠かせないものを作っていることを実感しました。
