Well, today I would like to show you how Grade 1 is taking Mr. Thapelo’s lesson!They all have colorful origami papers in their hands .

I asked the kids what they were doing!

Then…”I’m making origami lions!”We are learning about African culture.

“Why are you learning about African culture?”

Because Africa is Mr. Thapelo’s home country! I got responses from all over the place in Grade 1 classroom✨.

We were learning about “The big five”, the animals that symbolize Africa.
