「皆さん、おはようございます！これが私のfamily treeです。これが私のお母さん、お父さん、おばあさん、おじいさん、そして私です。これが私の家族です。🥳」

Shooting Star students continued to explore about family and they worked on making their family tree. They cut out the photos of each family member and glued them on the tree. With the goal of building their self-confidence and English skills, students came to the front one by one and presented their work. It was their first time doing it in our class and surprisingly they all did a great job. Most of them were able to say the above sentences by themselves with great confidence. Well done, Shooting Star! 🤩

Shooting Starの子どもたちは、家族についての探究を続け、family tree(家系図)を作ることに取り組みました。それぞれの家族の写真を切り抜き、貼り付けていきました。自信と英語力をつけることを目的に、一人ずつ前に出て発表しました。進級してからクラスのみんなの前で発表するのは初めてでしたが、驚くことにみんなとても上手でした。ほとんどのShooting Starさんが上記の文章を自信を持って自分で言うことができました。よくできたね！🤩

During our phonics and writing lessons, Shooting Star students were very engaged doing our activities. We played Letter Sound This or That to review the letter sounds and assess if they are ready for the next step which is reading CVC words. We also reviewed how to write uppercase letters A-E on our improvised little whiteboards and markers. 👏

フォニックスとライティングのレッスン中、Shooting Starの子どもたちはとても熱心にアクティビティに取り組んでいました。Letter Sound This or Thatで文字の音を復習し、次のステップであるCVC単語の読み方ができているかを確認しました。また、小さなホワイトボードとマーカーを使って、A～Eの大文字の正しい書き方を復習しました。👏

Our gym lesson was very interesting too because of trying various ways or tricks on using hula hoops. We also tried making a body bridge for the first time. It was not easy though but we will not give up until we can do it perfectly. 💪

ジムレッスンでは、フラフープのいろいろな使い方や技を試して、とても楽しんでいました。初めてブリッジにも挑戦しました。簡単ではないけれど、完璧にできるようになるまであきらめません。💪
