🌠 Shooting Star made a ref magnet for their dads as an expression of their love and gratitude. They carefully thought of what do their dads like and molded them into tangible products.
最近粘土で良く遊ぶSSさん。その成果が父の日のプレゼントに現れました👏SSさんは気持ちをこめて父の日のプレゼントのマグネットを紙粘土で作りました🥰お父さんは何がすきかなぁと考えながら一生懸命楽しくクラフトをしました。お父さん、素敵なプレゼント大事にしてあげてくださいね😉
UOI: Happy Family! 👨👨👦
The big day has finally come for Shooting star. They presented in front of the class and showcased how a happy family looks like. Every group prepared well for the presentation: They had a group discussion first and chose which role they will portray. Then they made a puppet for their character and decided what line to deliver. And to complete the preparation, they designated a family bonding to their group.
とうとう発表会の日がきました！2週間にわたり準備と練習をしてきたプロジェクトのRole playing ”A Happy Family”。みんな上手に発表できたと思います。Family bondingのRole playing、年中さんには少し難しかったかもしれませんが、自分たちの役と役割をしっかり発表することができてよかったなと思います！グループで役を決めることができ、自分の役割を紹介する言葉も考え、みんなでどんな家族の絆を深めるアクティビティをしたら楽しいかを考えました。 このアセスメントでは、グループディスカッションから始まり、プレゼンまで自分たちのグループメンバーとのチームワークを見ることができました。SSさんはこれからもグループワークをすることが増えると思います。チームワークが大切なことをたくさんのアクティビティやレッスンで学んでいきたいと思います！
It was a successful presentation; the students loved their own performance and gave themselves “10 claps” which stands for perfection. 👍🥰
Phyiscal Education: Getting ready for the sports fest!
It is almost the time of the year, where we stretch our bodies and move! At the gym, we practiced running and reviewed the things we should do during the race. The kids had so much fun. Of course, our usual routine for our gym lesson, we did too! Such a wonderful time for everyone!
ジムレッスンでは引き続きスポーツフェスティバルの為のかけっこの練習をしました。オレンジのコーンの外側をはしること、腕をしっかりふって走ること、応援している子ども達はしっかり並んで座って応援すること、などのルールも復習しました。スポーツフェスティバルではチームワークが大切になります。そこで今回はフラフープを使って二人一組のチームで協力しながら色々な動きをしました。みんな驚くほど上手に協力できていました👏この調子でスポフェスも素晴らしい演技ができるといいなぁと思っています💪
For Math. we are still practicing writing, counting and adding numbers. Although writing in not mirrored way is a bit challenging for them, they still love all the activities.
算数は引き続きライティング、カウンティング、足し算を練習しています。まだミラーイメージ（逆向き）で数字を書いてしまう子ども達もいますが、少しずつ良くなっています。
Phonics: We are Word Scientists! – The students have been practicing to get to know the letters more and more. We first test the words initial sound and from there we disect the first letter of the word: We name the letter, sound it, write and use it! It’s a great learning experience for everyone.
フォニックスでは再びワードサイエンティストになりました！サイエンティストになったSSさんは、日々色々なアルファベットと単語を探究しています。ワードサイエンティストが探究するときに使う４つの方法が「1. Name it, 2. Sound it, 3. Write it, 4. Use it」です。Name itはレター（アルファベット）を読みます。Tならティー。Sound itはレターの発音です。Ｔはトゥ。Write itはレターを書きます。Use itはそのレターが頭文字の単語を考えて、読んだり書いたりして使います。この方法はこれからも活用していくので、お家でもお子様とクイズ感覚でやってみてください♪
Reading: Our class love reading! This week, not only we read a book, but we also learned the difference between We, They and I. They easily got the difference of the 3 pronouns. It’s amazing!
SSさんはリーディングも大好き！今週は本（They look）を読むだけでなく、We They Iの違いについても学びました。さすがSSさん、それぞれの単語の意味を理解しています👍是非お家でも一緒に本をよんで、どのくらい読めるようになっているかみてください📚
Music lesson: 今週も「動物園」という曲を練習しました。初めて弾く曲ですが、と～～～っても上手に弾けました！こんなに早く覚えてピアニカ弾けちゃうなんて、私たちもとても驚きました👀この調子で色々な曲を弾けるようになるといいですね😉♪
Time flies and our first unit has ended. We finished the unit by concluding that beside family bonding, what glues the family together is LOVE!
時間があっという間にたって、Unit1が終わりました！Unit１では家族について、家族の絆について色々学びました。最後にみんなに伝えたいことは、「家族は「愛」で繋がっている」という事です！
Unit2は7月5日から始まります！それまでUOIレッスンはありませんが、子ども達と先生の1対1のインタビュー（リフレクション）があります。
