Hello everyone!
This week, Milky Way had a very special event which is our bus trip to Sky park. This time we went with Rainforest class which made our bus trip more special and fun! Though it was not their first time to go there, they were surprised how huge the park is as we walked around while feeling the cool and refreshing touch of autumn breeze. We stopped at a rock garden which is a good place to play hide and seek. Counted up to 30 and say “Ready or not. Here I come!”.
みなさんこんにちは！
今週は、ミルキーさんたちがとっても楽しみにしていたバストリップで、スカイパークに行ってきました。今回は島内キャンパスの年長さん、レインフォレストクラスのみんなと一緒に行ったので、より特別で楽しいバス遠足となりました！スカイパークに行くのは初めてではありませんでしたが、前回とは違うエリアで、また秋の涼しい風を感じながら園内を散策し、その広さに驚いている様子でした。かくれんぼにぴったりの玉石広場にも立ち寄りました。30まで数えて、「もういいかい？ さあ、行くよ！」
At lunchtime, they enjoyed the very cute and delicious packed lunch! Thank you very much, dear parents for taking time to prepare their bentos. We got to see taking off and landing airplane! Of course, bus trip won’t be complete without playing at the playground. Playing is never a tiring activity for kids!
お昼が近づくと、口々に「I’m hungry!!」という声が😊木陰で、とてもかわいくておいしいお弁当をいただきました！保護者の皆様、お忙しい中お弁当を作っていただきありがとうございました！！飛行機の離着陸も見ることができ、パイロットさんが手を振ってくれてみんな大興奮でした！もちろん遊具エリアで遊ぶ時間もあり、子ども達は決して疲れることなく遊んでいました！レインフォレストクラスのみんなとボールを使ってゲームをしたり、帰りには’WELCOME TO SHINSHU’の文字の上を歩いて、とても楽しい一日となりました😊
October is Halloween month! We started to feel the coming of Halloween by singing songs and making a craft. Jack-o- lantern, bat, cat, and moon! Which one do you want to make? After deciding what to make, we started folding the paper like a paper fan and did the finishing touches!
10月はハロウィーンの月ですね！歌を歌ったりクラフトを作ったりして、ハロウィンの訪れを感じ始めました。ジャック・オー・ランタン、コウモリ、黒ネコ、月の中から、どれにする？何を作るか決めたら、扇子のように紙を折って、糊付けして、パーツを付けたら完成！
In our Phonics, we learned about the /ee/ digraph as in leek, seed, jeep, bee, tree, weep, feet, and so on. We played Kick the Cup wherein each cup has a word to be read by the students. The teacher shows the picture and students look for the cup that has the word and kick the ball going to the cup. Targeting the cup was kinda challenging which made them so focused and determined in getting a point. At the end, it’s a tie! Both teams won!
フォニックスでは、neek, seed, jeep, bee, tree, weep, feet などのように、/ee/ の発音記号について学びました。Kick the Cupでは、それぞれのカップに単語が書いてあり、まずそれをみんなで読みました。そしてMs.Fronieが絵を見せると、子ども達はその単語が書かれたカップをめがけてボールを蹴ります。カップに狙いを定めて蹴ることは、子ども達を集中させ、点を取ろうと強く思う、ちょっと難しいものでした。2チームで競いましたが、結果は引き分け！両チームの勝ちとなりました！
