Some of you might be familiar with the Dreamworks animation film released in 2000 , “CHICKEN RUN”. It’s a fun story and a good way for young learners to deepen their knowledge about chickens.It teaches them that chickens aren’t just good for deep fried KFC or for the eggs they give us, but that they are being with feelings and emotions. For our U.O.I field trip we went to see and feed chickens at Bliss farm. The students enjoyed touching the chicks as well.
2000年に公開されたドリームワークスのアニメーション映画『CHICKEN RUN』をご存知の方もいることでしょう。そのストーリーは楽しく、小さなお子さんがニワトリについてよく知ることができる映画です。ニワトリはKFCのフライドチキンや卵をくれるだけの存在ではなく、感情や情緒を持った存在であることを教えてくれます。U.O.I.のフィールドトリップでは、Bliss農場にニワトリを見に行き、餌をあげることができました。Auroraさんたちはヒヨコを触ることも楽しんでいました。卵の色も大きさもそれぞれに違うこと、ニワトリの羽はサラサラなこと、お風呂には入らず砂を浴びること、ひよこは優しく抱っこすること。貴重な体験をさせていただきました。お野菜のご用意ありがとうございました。
