The highlight of our week was the swimming open day. The students were excited to have you observe their swimming lesson. As educators we strongly believe in the notion that parental involvement can boost a child’s motivation and confidence.Thank you for taking time off your busy schedules to be there for them.🏊🏻♀️

Happy birthday to those born in January!
On Monday everyone gathered in the music room to wish January babies a happy birthday. Our very own Ms.Ayako gave a magic show as part of her presentation.None of us knew so many magic tricks could be done using such a simple thing as a newspaper. Many thanks！🥰

Milky way’s Ms.Kumi read the students two books and sang a pikachu song with them.
今週は午後のサークルタイムにMilkyWayクラス担任のMs.Kumiが来てくれました。本を読んでくれたり、ピカチュウの手遊び歌を教えてくれました。Auroraさんたちは大喜びで真似して手を動かし、読み聞かせに集中していました。
Writing:My name begins with the letter A. How about yours?
Since we finished studying the whole alphapet(uppercase), we moved on to tracing our first names on worksheets. Last week we weren’t able to do so due to limitations with time, but we did it this week.
アルファベット（大文字）全体の学習が終わったので、ワークシートに自分のファーストネームをなぞってみました。一文字ずつ丁寧に書き、自分の名前が書けることを喜び、お友達の名前にはどんな文字があるのかなと興味津々です。
Go away ogre!
As part of educating the whole school about the seasonal division day – setsubun, and the day’s significance, ogres passed by Aurora and the students threw ‘beans’ at them to ward off misfortune and to attract fortune into their lives. Bravery was everyone’s best friend during those intense few minutes. 🤣
節分とその意味をお話した後、ついに今日Auroraクラスに鬼がやってきました！！事前の練習では笑顔があふれていましたが、実際の鬼には逃げる子、泣く子、隠れる子、勇敢に立ち向かう子と様々な姿を見せてくれました。Auroraさんたちは鬼に豆を投げつけて災難を払い、福を呼び込みました！心の中にいるヤダヤダ鬼や好き嫌いしちゃう鬼、いじわるしちゃう鬼も一緒に追い払えたかな？みんな勇気を出してよく頑張りました！
