This week, we had a fun-filled Halloween Party in the gym together with our parents! Both campuses joined the celebration, and the gym was full of excitement and laughter. Children came dressed in their adorable costumes—witches, superheroes, princesses, and many other characters filled the gym with color and fun!

We started the event by singing the lively “Halloween Stomp” song, which set the mood for the celebration. Everyone enjoyed playing games and making Halloween crafts with their friends and parents. The children were delighted and excited, joining in all the games.

To end our wonderful event, we sang the cheerful “Goodbye Halloween” song together before the children received their special treat bags to take home.

It was truly a wonderful celebration filled with happy smiles, cheerful music, and a festive Halloween spirit. What a “spooktacular” time we had together!

UOI lesson

We read a story about The Color Monster, which helped us learn that each color represents a different feeling—red for angry, yellow for happy, green for calm, blue for sad, pink for loved, and black for scared.

After reading, we had a discussion about the children’s own feelings and what color might represent how they felt that day. To express their emotions, they colored their Monster, showing their feelings. It was a meaningful activity that helped the children recognize and express their emotions creatively.

We talked with the students about the upcoming Christmas show and asked how they felt. Most of them shared that they were excited and happy!

This year, Aurora students will perform a play on stage. We invited the students to choose the characters they wanted to portray. Once everyone had decided on their roles, we discussed and set some simple rules for practicing to help make rehearsals fun and organized.

We then started practicing a few lines of the play and observed how well the students applied the rules. They impressed us so much by saying their lines with big, confident voices, showing both enthusiasm and understanding of the guidelines. It was wonderful to see their excitement and growing confidence!
