Welcome to our second to the last last blog for the month of October!

Rainbow’s highlight for this week was our emergency drill. It was an ordinary day in our class and the teacher was reading a story book when suddenly Mr. Igor shouted, Earthquake! The teachers repeated, Earthquake, earthquake! and a few of the students hid right away under the table while others were wondering what’s happening around, but when the teachers asked them to hide under the table, they did. Everyone was hiding under the table when suddenly the emergency alarm rang and we heard a shout, Fire, fire! We came out immediately of the table. We lined up covering our mouth and evacuated through the main entrance and gathered in the schoolyard. There we saw firefighters who commented, Good job to all of us and one of them explained how to use the fire extinguisher. Then, all ISN staff members practiced putting off the fire with it! Well done, teachers! After that, each class had given the privilege to see the big fire truck and had a photo op with the fire fighters. That was fun! said, Rainbow students.

We also made a monster craft which we are going to decorate on the Halloween party. Students used three different colors to paint the paper plate. Their faces showed amazement how colors were put together to make a colorful blend.
