こんにちは。今週はとても気持ちの良い天気でしたね。秋もそこまで来ているような感じがします。お散歩の途中で、子ども達と一緒に緑色から赤色に色づいてきている葉っぱを見つけたり、子ども達が大好きな猫じゃらしが、緑色から茶色になっているのを見つけたりしてきました！猫じゃらしは、猫のしっぽに似ているので「Cat tail」と言うそうです。子ども達も、「あっ！トンポだ」「紫色のお花」色んなものに興味を示していました。
Hello. The weather has been so pleasant this week, hasn’t it? It feels like autumn is just around the corner. While out on a walk, we found leaves that are starting to change from green to red, and we also noticed that the foxtails the children love so much have turned from green to brown! I heard they’re called “cat tails” because they look like a cat’s tail. The children were also excited, pointing things out like, “Oh! A dragonfly!” and “Look, a purple flower!” They showed so much curiosity about everything we came across.
不審者訓練がありました。Rainbowさん達は喋らずお部屋の隅に固まってじっとしていることが出来ました。中には入ってこなかったので、怖がる子どももいなく、先生のお話をしっかりと聞くことが出来ました👏🏻 「知らない人に飴あげるよ、チョコレートあげるよ。と言われたらどうする？」の質問に「No!」と元気よく答えてくれました！【いかのおすし】を子どもたちと学びました。お家でも聞いてみてください😊
We had a safety drill today to practice what to do if a suspicious person comes. The Rainbow class children were able to stay quiet, gather together in the corner of the room, and remain still. Since no one actually came inside, none of the children were scared, and they were able to listen carefully to the teacher’s instructions 👏🏻.
When asked, “What would you do if a stranger said, ‘I’ll give you some candy or chocolate’?” the children answered loudly and confidently, “No!”
We also learned about the safety rules for how to protect ourselves from strangers. Please ask your child about it at home too 😊.
箱の中からボールをひとつ取り、アルファベット(A~H)を1人ずつよみあげました。毎日朝のサークルタイムでABCソングを歌っているので、みんな覚えることができています。
I took one ball out of the box and read the letters (A–H) aloud one by one. Since we sing the ABC song every morning during circle time, everyone has been able to remember them.
おやつタイムや、ランチタイムで、「What shape is this?」と聞くと、子ども達は、「Circle」「Square」と答えてくれます。朝の自由時間には、丸や四角、三角、ハート、星などの形のパズルを楽しんでいます。
During snack time or lunch time, when I ask, “What shape is this?” the children answer, “Circle” or “Square.” In the morning free play, they enjoy puzzles with shapes like circles, squares, triangles, hearts, and stars.
来週はジムレッスン、ミュージックレッスンや、クラフトなどをする予定です。では良い週末をお迎えください✨️
