Milky way: Wiggles and giggles :Our gym open day fun! (June 30th-July 4th)

Welcome to Milky way’s first blog of July. The highlight of our week was Wednesday’s gym open day! It was very hot and humid but everyone moved their bodies from start to finish, to the best of their ability. By the time the lesson was over, most of the students were dripping wet of sweat , but they know that moving their bodies a lot is part of taking care of their physical well-being. A part of being BALANCED! Thank you to all the parents and guardians for taking some time out of your busy schedules to be there for your kids! They all love running around and doing cool gymnastic moves at their gym lessons, so doing what they love with those they love dearly, meant a lot to them.✨

ミルキーウェイ7月最初のブログへようこそ。今週のハイライトは水曜日のジムオープンデーでした！とても暑くて湿度も高かったのですが、みんな最初から最後まで、家族に人と一緒に精一杯体を動かしていました。レッスンが終わる頃には、ほとんどの生徒が汗だくになっていましたが、体をたくさん動かすことが健康維持に繋がることを、子どもたちはよく分かっています。バランスの取れた生活を送るには、まさにその通りです！お忙しい中、子どもたちのためにお越しくださった保護者の皆様、本当にありがとうございました！子どもたちはみんな体育館で走り回ったり、かっこいい体操をしたりするのが大好きです。大好きな仲間と一緒に好きなことをすることは、子どもたちにとってとても大切なことですね。✨

Everyone was excited to kick off pool play on July 1st. There were many smiles and giggles in the swimming pool!

7月1日、みんな水遊びを楽しみにしていました。プールではたくさんの笑顔と笑い声が聞こえました！

To commemorate the star festival, they did a craft. They also wrote their hopes and wishes to hang on the bamboo tree that’s on the school entrance .If you get a chance, please take a look. They have also made a rainy season craft – morning glories. Each one is very special and beautiful, they are very proud of their art pieces.

七夕を記念して、クラフト制作をしました。校門の竹に、願い事を書いた紙を飾りました。「大きくなったら先生になりたい！僕はお医者さん！私はピアノを上手になりたい！早く走りたいな！」などとたくさんの素敵な願い事がありました❤️ 機会があれば、ぜひ見てくださいね。梅雨の時期になりましたね。みんなでアサガオの工作もしました。朝顔のつるはとても個性的で、花はカラフルで美しく、子どもたちは自分の作品をとても誇りに思っています。クラスの外の壁に展示していますのでご覧ください👀

We harvested our radishes on Thursday and tasted some on Friday!

サイエンスフェアに向けて毎日一生懸命お世話をしている大根が収穫時期になったようで、みんなで引き抜いてみました。あまりたくさんの赤大根を収穫することはできませんでしたが、みんなで一生懸命育てた数少ない綺麗に美しく実ったラディッシュを今日食べました！スパイシ〜！や、これ嫌い！苦い！などみんな面白い顔を見せてくれました（笑）お家に持って帰るラディッシュは調理してもらうといいよと伝えました。
