Hello Wonderful parents and friends,
this week began with a fun monthly event: Birthday party!! One student turned 4 years old in Aurora. Happy birthday to you♡ We all gathered in one room and celebrated, enjoyed the game ”Who am I?”. All kids was excited to think who is the MC talking about with listening and looking at the picture of 3 hints, once they came up with the answer, they couldn’t stop answering what that is!!
みなさんこんにちは！今週は、7月生まれのお友達のお誕生日パーティーから始まりました🎶オーロラさんからは、一人のお友達が4歳の誕生日を迎えました。おめでとう♡キャンパスみんなが一つの部屋に集まり、お祝いしました。今月は「私は誰？」のクイズがあり、3つのヒントをよく見て聞いて、それが誰のことなのかをみんなで当てるゲームでした。答えがわかるとみんな大興奮！大盛り上がりのパーティーとなりました😊
At the gym, the practice for the upcoming wonderful event has already started. Yes, it’s Sports Festival!! Aurora students will run the half of the track as a race. They are practicing to answer ‘I’m here!’ loudly when their name is called, ‘On your mark'(stand behind the line), ‘Get set'(move one leg to the back) and ‘(whistle)’ -run! It’s their first time to run a curve, so it’s also a challenging for them to run outside of the cone. They were doing very well. They’re risktakers!!
They really love dancing our dance performance song ‘Animal carnival at the zoo’ and we’re practicing the steps. Please look forward to see their lovely dance😊
ジムレッスンでは、9月にやってくるとっても楽しみなイベントの練習が始まっています。そう、スポーツフェスティバルです！！オーロラさんたちは、トラックを半周走ります。名前を呼ばれたら大きな声で「I’m here!」、「On your mark」で白い線の後ろに立つ。「Get set」で片方の足を後ろへ。笛が鳴ったら駆け出します！カーブを曲がって走るのも初めてなので、コーンの外側を走ることも練習です。初めてのことにもしっかりと前向きに挑戦できるオーロラさん達。しっかりと「Risktaker」な姿を見せてくれました！
ダンスでは、Unit2で探求しているAnimalsに関連し、「Animal carnival at the zoo」を披露します。色々な動物になって踊ります！みんなこの歌が大好きで、ダンスもとっても張り切って練習しています。楽しみにしていてくださいね😊
We watched some short videos about animals. They learnt what they eat, where they live, how they move/ sound and so on. We enjoyed imitating those animals while watching it! We also read several books, each introducing animals and asked the students ”What animal do you like?”.
色々な動物が出てくるビデオをいくつか見ました。動物たちが何を食べているのか、どこに住んでいるのか、どうやって動き、どうやって鳴くのかなど、いろんな情報を得ていっています。出てきた動物の真似をしながら見ました😊動物の本もたくさん読み、「どの動物が好き？」と子どもたちに聞いてみました。
Many flashcards of animals, books, animal stuffed toys were placed on the floor. Our little learners were busy choosing one from them. Once they chose the one they like, they tried to draw it on the worksheet. What color is it? How many legs/ feet does it have? They observed the picture/ stuffed toy carefully and drew it on the paper. It was a good experience for them to draw what they see. Their great works are on the wall in the hall way. When you have time, please look at them. Well done, Aurora!
床にはたくさんの動物の絵、本、ぬいぐるみ。さて、子どもたちは自分の好きな動物を選ぶのに大忙し！自分の好きな動物を選んだら、紙にその動物を描いてみました。体はどんな色？模様は？足や手は何本ある？絵やぬいぐるみをしっかり観察し、絵に描きました。物を見て絵を描くということはとっても良い経験になりました。みんなが頑張って描いた絵、廊下に飾ってありますので、是非ご覧くださいね。
We also had great times in the outside pool! We imitated some animals in the water! Erephants, alligators, gorillas, fish… It was a very cool moment on a hot summer day. Thank you always preparing for those activities.
園庭のプール遊びも楽しめました🎶水の中で動物に変身！ぞうさん、ワニさん、ゴリラさん、魚たち、、、暑い空の下、冷たくて気持ちの良いひと時でした😊いつもご用意ありがとうございます！！
Next week, we are learning the letter ”F”, making craft for the sports festival and of caurse enjoyng the pool! We’ll practice the Bon-bon dance too.
来週はアルファベットFを学んだり、スポーツフェスティバルへ向けた工作に取り組み始めます。プール遊びも楽しみたいと思います。ぼんぼんの踊りも練習する予定です☆
