Shooting Star：There are many types of families. （April28th-May2nd）

There are many types of family.This week Mr.Bobby and I each introduced our own family. Although the number of people living together and the composition of their families are different, we hope they have learned that there are many different types of families and that they are all wonderful.

様々な家族の形があることを学んでいるSSの子どもたち。今週はMr.Bobbyと私がそれぞれ自分の家族を紹介しました。一緒に暮らしている人数も構成も違いますが、家族には様々な形があり、どれも素晴らしいということを学んでくれたらと思います。

This week, as part of UOI, the children made family dolls out of toilet paper tubes, asking themselves “How many people are in your family? The children thought for themselves, picked up the necessary amount of toilet paper tubes, and enjoyed coloring them with paint. They added eyes and hair and completed a very cute family doll. ❤️ They immediately started playing with the dolls, introducing them to their friends nearby as “This is my mother.””This is my father.””This is me.”

今週はUOI の一環として、トイレットペーパーの芯を使い、家族の人形を作りました。”How many people are in your family?””Who lives in your house?”子どもたちは自分で考え、必要な分のトイレットペーパーを手に取り、絵の具で色塗りを楽しみました。目と髪の毛をつけてとても可愛い家族のお人形が完成しました❤️早速近くのお友達に”This is my mother.””This is my father.””This is me.”と紹介して遊び始めていました。

In gym class, students are practicing bridges. After doing exercises to build arm strength, some of the students are now able to lift their hips up firmly!Children around the age of 4 to 5 years old are confident in their ability to try and do things that are a little more difficult.
They enjoy moving their bodies while experiencing the joy of being able to do things they could not do before.

ジムレッスンではブリッジの練習に励んでいます。腕の力をつけるための運動をしてから挑戦すると、おしりをしっかりと持ち上げることが出来る子が出てきました！４ー５歳ころの子どもたちは少し難しいことに挑戦してできたことが自信につながります。今までできなかったことが出来る喜びを味わいながら楽しく体を動かしています。

In the Music lesson, we learned the “Do” note followed by the ‘Re’ note, and SS students are now able to find the “Do” note by themselves. They are practicing to play the “Do” note with their thumbs and the “Re” note with their index fingers, using the correct fingering. Please try practicing at home as well.

Music lessonでは「ド」の音に続いて「レ」の音を習いました。SSさんたちは「ド」の音を一人で見つけられるようになってきています。「ド」の音は親指で、「レ」の音は人差し指で、正しい指使いで弾けるように練習をしています。ぜひお家でも練習してみてください。
