Monday was the last day of school of one of our student K, who has been with us since Rainbow class. We sang a song together (Totoro), held hands and hugged to say goodbye. Everyone in the class gave her a hand-shaped bouquet card. Thank you for playing with us! We love you so much! Take care, our dear K! We look forward to seeing you again someday.

月曜日はレインボークラスの時から一緒に過ごしてきたKちゃんの最後の登園日でした。みんなで散歩の歌を歌い、手をつないだりハグをして別れを惜しみました。クラスのみんなからは手型の花束カードを贈りました。一緒に遊んでくれてありがとう！大好きだよ！と伝えました。Kちゃん、元気でね！またいつか会える日を楽しみにしています。
In U.O.I., we are deepening our understanding of the roles of family members (housework and work). The students sorted the photos prepared by their parents into their respective roles and glued them together. Some of the students remembered the line from the presentation they gave last week and said, “My mother is cooking!
They noticed what their fathers and mothers do for them, and they wanted to play the role of mother and father too! So, when asked what they wanted to do, they said “Working!” and “Washing clothes!” Using both hands, they colored the cardboard with paint and made a washing machine. The children, who see their parents doing this every day, are familiar with it and started playing right away.
U.O.Iではおうちの方の役割（家事、仕事）について理解を深めています。おうちの方に用意していただいた写真をそれぞれの役割ごとに仕分けてのりで貼っていきました。先週みんなの前でプレゼンテーションをしたときのセリフを覚えていて、””My mother is cooking!”と言いながら貼る子もいました。
お父さんやお母さんがしてくれることに気づき、さあ、ＳＳさんたちもお父さんやお母さんになり切って遊ぼう！ということで、何がしたいかを聞くと”Working!” “Washing clothes!”とのこと。両手を使って段ボールに絵の具で色を塗り、洗濯機を作りました。おうちの方がしているのを毎日見ている子どもたちは手慣れた様子で早速遊び始めています。
They planted mini-tomatoes and basil with the help of Mr. Koyama, who supervises the school’s garden. The students were fearful of digging out the soil, but their faces were serious as they gently covered the plants with soil. We will be watering the plants every day and taking care of them while enjoying their growth. As announced in Okuranger, we are going to plant sweet potatoes on Monday. Thank you for your cooperation.
スクールの畑を監修してくれている小山さんに教わりながら、ミニトマトとバジルを植えました。土を掘るところから恐る恐るでしたが、そーっと優しく土をかぶせる顔は真剣そのものでした。これから毎日お水をあげて成長を楽しみながらお世話をしていきたいと思います。オクレンジャーでお知らせしたとおり月曜日はさつまいもを植えに行きます。よろしくお願いいたします。
