We were blessed with very nice weather and were able to go on our first bus trip since becoming Shooting Star class! As soon as we put our feet in the water at Sky Park, we were all saying, “It’s cold! It feels so good! They were so excited to catch the float leaves, play rock-paper-scissors on the stepping stones, and even tried to swim saying “I can swim” and tried to swim! They walked hand in hand with their friends, and when it got cold, they played on the rocks and enjoyed playing in the water as much as they wanted.
とってもいいお天気に恵まれてシューティングスタークラスになってから初めてのバス遠足に行ってくることができました！スカイパークでは水の中に足を入れた途端「冷たい！気持ちいい！」と大はしゃぎ😊流れている葉っぱを捕まえたり、飛び石の上でジャンケンをしたり、「I can swim !」と言って泳ごうとしたり！お友達と手をつないで歩き、寒くなったら石の上でひなたぼっこをして思う存分に水遊びを堪能しました。
The fun time continues! After changing, it was time for the long awaited lunch at Seinan Park. It was supposed to be a special lunch eaten outside, but ants climbed on their sheet! And everyone was in an uproar! Everyone looked really happy to show us their delicious-looking lunches 💛.
Seinan Park has a lot of large playground equipment. The long slide and the balance beam took a little courage for SS students, but even though they fell off the equipment, they did not give up and bravely tried again! They were all great risk-takers! Thank you very much for making lunch boxes for the children, and for making last-minute changes to their belongings! Thanks to your support, all of us were able to enjoy the bus trip without injury.
楽しい時間はまだまだ続きます！着替えた後には西南公園で待ちに待ったお弁当の時間。お外で食べるお弁当は格別！のはずがシートの上にアリが登ってきたと言っては大騒ぎ！！おいしそうなお弁当、みんな本当に嬉しそうに見せてくれました💛
西南公園には大型の遊具がたくさんあります。長い滑り台に、バランスをとりながら進む遊具もあります。SSさんにとっては少し勇気のいる遊具でしたが、途中で落ちてしまってもあきらめることなく、また果敢に挑戦していきました！みんな立派なRisk-takerでした！お弁当作りをはじめ、直前での持ち物の変更にご対応くださりありがとうございました！おかげさまで、全員が怪我をすることなく遠足を楽しむことができました。
The next day, they formed groups of three and drew pictures of their field trip. They drew while talking with their friends, remembering how they played in the water and what kind of playground equipment they saw.
翌日には3人ずつグループを作り、遠足の絵を描きました。水で遊んだこと、どんな遊具があったかを思い出しながらお友達とお話をしながら描いていました。
At U.O.I. we continue to learn about family roles. This week, we used photos brought from home and presented who was doing what in front of everyone. They were asked to share their roles in front of everyone: “My father is working,” “My mother is cooking,” “My father is washing the dishes,” “I am helping my mother cook.,” etc. They where shy at first when presenting but very happily, their voices got louder little by little as they gained confidence when talking in front of the class!
U.O.Iでは引き続き家族の役割について学んでいます。今週はお家からご持参いただいた写真を使い、みんなの前で誰が何をしてている写真なのかを発表しました。「私のお父さんは仕事をしています」「私のお母さんは料理をしています」「私のお父さんは食器を洗っています」「私はお母さんの料理を手伝っています」などなど。少し恥ずかしそうにでもとても嬉しそうに発表してくれました。少しづつ声も大きくなってきました！
