Christmas Show
We’re getting there! We already memorized our lines and we’re polishing the blockings, facial expressions, the actions, props, and sound effects in our play. We went to Nagano City Arts Center on Friday to practice our blockings and voice projection. We also added some candies and sweets on our candy house.
もうちょっとです❣❣❣ クリスマスの劇のセリフをだんだん台本なしで覚えてきました。 立ち位置、表情、アクション、小道具、効果音などの磨きをかけています🎄 今週は長野市芸術館へリハーサルに行き、立ち位置、声量を確認しました🤩 そして、スクールでは引き続きキャンディーハウスのデコレーションをしました🧁🍭🍫🍬
UOI
Everyone has a way of self expression. Some use their language, either spoken or written, others use facial expressions, some use their actions, and most of us use all three.
みなさん、表現の仕方は様々ですよね✨ 言葉で伝えたり、書き記したり、表情で表したり、行動で示したり、ほとんどの方が今お伝えした全てを使いますね😳
This week we practiced expressing ourselves with those three. On Monday, we did a mirror activity where we showed our different facial expressions and body language in different situations in the play “Hansel and Gretel”. Our teacher walked around the room holding a mirror so we could see our expressions on it. Another activity we did was Zombie Name Game where we made a big circle. One of us had to be a zombie in the middle. We said a name of our classmate then the zombie came to him, the person whose name was mentioned had to say one of our names so the zombie couldn’t catch him. The purpose of this game is to keep our focus despite the pressure and tension around us. In our Christmas show, we need to stay focused so we could do our task. We also showed different emotions in this game. Some of us got excited, others got nervous, some were scared, but all of us stayed alert.
今週は感情表現のレッスンをする為に３つの事をしました🧐 月曜日にはミラーアクティビティーをしました。ヘンゼルとグレーテルのお話を土台にシーン別にそれぞれの登場人物はどんな気持ちになっているのかを顔で表現し、先生が持っている大きな鏡で自分の表情をチェックしました😭😲😫😤そして、体全体でも表現をしました。もう１つのアクティビティーはゾンビゲームをして遊びました。みんなで１つの円になり、１人のゾンビが円の中に入り、ゾンビは友達の名前を呼びながらそのお友達の方へゆっくり向かっていきます。ゾンビにタッチされる前に狙われたお友達は他のお友達の名前を言えたらセーフです。このゲームの目的は、プレッシャーと緊張に襲われても、集中を切らす事なく行動する事が大切と言う事です。ゲームの最中、興奮したり、緊張したり、怖くなったりしましたが、油断せずゲームに集中することが出来ました🧟♂️🧟♀️
We also talked about the last of the five ways of telling stories– comic. We talked about what makes a comic based on looking at the example on the board. Those are words, speech and thought bubbles, boxes, and pictures. Some of us were called in front as partners. They used their facial expressions, body language, and speech bubbles, froze, then we guessed what they were talking about or thinking of. Finally, on Friday, we completed a comic by looking at the first few pictures and predicting what could happen next.
ストーリーの伝え方の５つ目のコミックについても探究しました📚 ホワイトボードの漫画のサンプルも見て、コミックの作り方についてお話しました。文字があり、吹き出しや、考えを表す吹き出し、区切り、絵がありました。積極的なお友達はペアになり前に出て、シーンを考え、ボディーラングエージや表情を作り、フリーズし、コミックの１コマになったつもりで、クラスのお友達にどんなシーンで、どんな吹き出しが出ているかを当てるアクティビティーをしました。金曜日には、サンプルコミックの続きをそれぞれ考えて描きました📔
Math
This week, we wrote our own Mini Book. For Shooting Star, we wrote My More, Less, and Equal Book, while Milky Way wrote My Doubles Facts Mini Book. We enjoyed writing our own book because we got to draw different objects that we like. Most of us couldn’t finish it so we’re continuing it next week.
算数の時間はミニブックを作成しました📚 Shooting Starのお友達は「～より大きい」、「～より小さい」、「～と～が等しい」の本を作り、Milky Wayは数の倍数の本を作りました。タイトルに合った物を好きに描きました。今週だけでは時間が足りなくなってしまったので、来週もミニブックの続きをしていきます😉✨
Swimming
