Koinobori craft 🎏
Children’s day is next week, so we had fun making some of our own carp streamers using colorful origami paper. Since this month’s learning point has been colors, it was a good opportunity to talk about the different colors we used while making the craft. The kids got to choose the color they liked, rip it into the size they wanted to use, and finally glue it to the fish shaped paper.
来週は「こどもの日」なので折り紙で鯉のぼりを作りました。今月は色について学んでいるので、製作中に色についてお話しすることができました。子供たちはそれぞれ好きな色の折り紙を選んで、好きな大きさにちぎって糊で貼りました。

The kid’s all love their families, so they got very excited when we told them we were going to make a present for their precious mommy! We used our handprint to make some nice flower.
家族が大好きな子供たち…mommyにプレゼントを作ると聞いて大喜びしていました。ハンドプリントでかわいいお花ができました！
Gym lesson 🤸♀️
We went to our first gym lesson together this week! Not only was it our fist gym lesson, but also our first time to take the bus together. The kids were very excited to ride the bus!
We started the gym lesson by doing some easy stretches and warming up. Then, we used the mat to do various exercises. In one of the exercises, the kids had to walk across the mat without stepping on any of the obstacles put down on the mat. I can’t wait to see everyone’s gross motor skills develop this year!
初めてのジムレッスンがありました。そしてみんなで乗る初めてのスクールバスにワクワクしていました！ジムレッスンでは簡単なストレッチとウォームアップをしてからいくつかのマットエクササイズをしました。写真はマットの上の黄色いプラスチックの棒を踏まないように歩いているところです。みんなの運動能力が向上することが楽しみです。
Playtime! 🧩
We have had fun playing both inside and outside this week. It’s nice to see that our students are getting along nice and have even started playing together sometimes too! I have no doubt everyone will be best friends by the end of the year!
今週は室内遊びと外遊びの両方を楽しみました。最近は子供たちが一緒に遊ぶ姿も見られるようになりました。きっと今年度の終わりにはbest friendになっているのでしょうね😄
