Good day! This week we did a special activity on what we have learned about feelings (Happy, Sad, Anger, Fear, Disgust). Each group received a set of different emotions, and they show the appropriate emotions according to the stories told by the teacher. For example, “When I walk to the kitchen, I saw my favorite foods on the table” and the kids show us the emotion that are suitable for the stories. This week we also have started the new LOI which is “Ways to communicate with others (Oral, Physical, facial)” and our focus this week was facial expression. The class begins with everyone being silent and only facial expressions are allowed, then each group come out and show everyone the expression through the feelings that teacher told them. After that, everyone will guess the feelings. Through this activity, we learned about communication doesn’t always show orally but also other ways such as facial.

みなさん、こんにちは！ 今週私たちは、探究の流れ1を終了しました。感情 (幸せ、悲しい、怒り、恐怖、嫌悪) について学んだことについて、アクティビティを通して評価を実施しました。 各グループは一連の異なる感情を受け取り、先生の話に応じて適切な感情を示します。 例えば、「キッチンに行くと、テーブルの上に好きな食べ物が置いてあるのを見た。」など、先生が読み上げる物語を聞いて、その場面にふさわしい感情を子供たちが見せてくれました。
今週は、探究の流れ2「他者とのコミュニケーション方法（口頭、身体、顔）」である新しい 探究の流れを開始しました。今週の焦点は顔の表情でした。LOI1で学んだ感情の種類を、クラスみんなでどう表情で表現するかをレビューをしました。 そして、感情を言葉ではなく表情のみで伝える事をテーマに活動しましtた。クラス全員がサイレントモードになり、1人ずつ前に出てきて表情だけで伝えます。さらに、もう少し展開させていきます。表情を使った感情当てゲームを行いました。グループになり先生から伝えられた感情をクラス全員に表情で見せます。 また、表情リレーにも挑戦しました。隣のともだちの感情を認識して、その感情をまた隣へ表情だけで伝えていきます。 この活動を通じて、コミュニケーションは口頭だけでなく、顔などの他の方法でも行われることを学びました。

The weather this week was lovely and having fun outside the school is always our favorite activity of the day. We also did some teamwork game this week to strengthen our bond as team members.
今週も気持ちの良いお天気に恵まれ🌞、楽しく外遊びを行いました。元気に友だちと楽しく走り回る姿があたくさんありました🤩　そして、またチームでの活動も行いました。今回は、玉入れです。チームで協力して箱の中に玉を入れていきます。一番多く玉をいれたチームはどこかな🤩❔

For the further details of the new English Champion system in Aurora class. The system begun in August 2022 until present, the system aims to increase the chance and encourage our kids to use English language in daily basis at ISN. Every time the teacher noticed and heard a kid using English in communication, greetings, trying their best in using the language, appropriate way to talk and being principled in the classroom, the teacher will give a star sticker on their name as reward. Once the kid has collected 5 or 10 stars, the kid will be rewarded with their favorite stickers, games or storybook. Each kid has a different level in the language; therefore, we will always adjust the assessment on them and ensure that each kid improve in English language in their level.
オーロラクラスでは、年度初めにリワードステッカーを行い、身の回りのことを自分で行い、終わったお友だちはステッカーをゲットして、自分のロッカーに貼り、オリジナルのロッカーに装飾できるという取り組みがありました🤩（張る場所は、年度初めにそれぞれが自由に絵を描いたA3サイズの用紙をラミネートして、ポスターにしたものをロッカーに貼った場所です。）子どもたちの成長段階に応じて、オーロラクラスの新しいイングリッシュチャンピオンシステムを行っています。その詳細についてご紹介します。 このシステムは 8 月頃から現在に至るまで、子供たちが英語を日常的に使用する機会を増やし、奨励することを目的としています。 先生は、コミュニケーション、挨拶、言語など、子どもたちが最善を尽くしながら適切な話し方、教室での英語を使用している様子に気づき、それを聞くたびに、その子供の名前に星のステッカー🌟を報酬として与えます。子どもたちが5 つまたは 10 個の星🌟を集めると、お気に入りのステッカー、またはクラスでの活動のゲーム、絵本のリクエスト📚ができる機会を与えられます。 個々に言語のレベルが異なります。 したがって、私たちは常に彼らの評価を調整し、それぞれのみんなが自分のレベルで英語を上達できるようにしています。
