The painters are ready…. 先週は、クリスマスショーがありました。無事にクラス全員で舞台に立つことができ、本当に嬉しかったです！当日は、お越しくださり、ありがとうございました。写真は、クリスマスショーに向けて、朝の時間にペインティングをお手伝いしてくれた様子です。お友達と一緒に考えたデザインで、スパイダーマンの靴を作ってくれました。

Keeping up with our reading 先週のリーディングの様子です。読む単語を指差しながら、お友達と一緒に読んでいます。Readingは、お家でも練習してきていますので、一人ひとり上達している姿が見られます。

Writingの時間は、皆集中して行っています。書く文字も丁寧に上手になってきています。
いつも賑やかなクラスでは、それぞれ、とても楽しそうです。Recess Timeの時は、折り紙やマグネットの玩具などをして過ごしましたが、その時に、自ら進んで、先生がクラスの床に貼り付けたテープを剥がし、きれいにするお手伝いをしてくれた子どもたちの姿がありました。日々、子どもたちの成長を感じています！

The BIG stage with all its NEW extra marks and lines got some of us a little lost about where to stand, but one of the moms noticed and praised the kids saying, “Even when they were giving each other directions, they were speaking only English!” The young actors/singers/dancers all said they had great fun doing the show. We trust that YOU had fun watching us, too!
Our pianica performance was short, but playing the right notes AND staying together in tempo were the best we have ever done, and the Shooting Stars (AND their teachers :O) were very pleased with that performance!
クリスマスショー当日は、舞台の上で、一人ひとりの素敵な姿を見ることができました。いつもより緊張しているお子さんもみられましたが、印象的だったのは、とても楽しそうに役を演じていたことです。自分の出番でない時も、舞台の袖から、皆の素敵な歌声が聞こえました。列にならぶ際、場所の確認のため、子どもたちが話す場面もありましたが、英語で、しっかりと自分の意見を相手に伝えてました。また、ピアニカの演奏では、本番当日に、１６人の音を、しっかりと揃え、演奏することができ、とても感動しました！クリスマスショーに向けて、お家で、劇のセリフやピアニカの練習など、サポート頂きまして、ありがとうございます。また、衣装の帽子制作のご協力を頂き、本当にありがとうございました！来週もどうぞよろしくお願いいたします。
