Greetings everyone! We have continued our unit 2 “Protecting the planet” learning after the summer break last week. We first observed the nature of our planet and made a craft based on it. We talked about our planet and what do we see in our environment around the school. We have learned what are man-made and natural things in our lesson this week and we will challenge our kids to walk around the school and have a closer look on our environment.
皆さま、こんにちは。夏休みの後、引き続き、Unit 2の “Protecting the planet”（環境を守ること）について学んでいます。まず、地球の自然を観察し、それをもとに、工作を行いました。また、地球についてやスクールの近くの環境はどのようになっているのか等を話しました。今週は、どれが人工物でどれが自然のものなのかを知ることができました。来週以降、スクールの近くを歩き、身近な環境に目を向けていく予定です。

We also have started daily morning quiet time with shooting stars class every day. The purpose of this activity is to allow our kids to set daily goals and intentions so that they will have the motivation to go through the day.
先週から、朝にdaily morning quiet timeを行なっています。この活動は、自分自身のその日のゴールを決め、一日をはじめる良いきっかけになればと始めました。shooting starクラスの皆と一緒に、朝静かな時間を過ごしています。それぞれリラックスできる姿勢をしたり、深呼吸をしたりと、皆で、一人ひとりの時間を大切にしています。
