Along with all our USUAL busyness, Shooting Star spent a lot of time and effort on our Christmas Show. The week began with another rehearsal at the gym on Monday. It’s sometimes a challenge to concentrate on our OWN play with so much going on around us in the same gymnasium…
That was not a problem on Friday when we went to the big stage where we’ll perform on December 14th! Learning how to use the curtains, stage and OFF-stage for both “The Elves and the Shoemaker” and our musical performance with pianicas was a good learning experience. November is nearly over, and not much time left to work together and polish our performances. We’ll do our best!
先週は、週のはじめに、スクールの近くの体育館に行きました。劇の練習の前には、体操をしたり走ったりとたくさん身体を動かせるので、子どもたちは、とても楽しそうでした！クリスマスショーに向けて、週の終わりには、リハーサルのため実際に会場に行き、ステージで劇の練習を行いました。普段とは違う雰囲気の中、少し緊張している様子でしたが、子どもたちは、一生懸命歌ったり踊ったりしていました。しっかり列になり並べるように、楽しみながら、練習をしていきたいです。
１１月末になり、近々、Unit２で育てたプランターのサラダビーツを収穫予定です。ビーツの根の部分が
大きくなりませんでしたが、葉っぱの部分は食べられますので、収穫後、お家に持って帰る予定です。
“The Elves and the Shoemaker” の劇を行っていることもあり、先週は、紙のブーツを縫う工作も行いました。毛糸についているセロハンテープの尖った部分を針に見立て、子どもたちは、上手に２つの紙を縫い合わせていました。今週は、塗った靴をデコレーションする予定です！
先週ですが、ブログの更新が遅くなり、申し訳ありませんでした。
今週も、クラスでは、皆で１つのものを作り上げることができるように、劇やピアニカの練習をしていきたいと思います。お家でも、お子様のサポートをお願い致します。
