Hello everyone!
It’s a shorter week, but that doesn’t mean that it’s any less fun! Just when you think spring is here and summer is on the way, it’s starts snowing outside! We have been using our bodies and having a lot of fun inside this week.
Dancing time!
Everyone is young and full of energy, so it’s only natural that they would want to move their bodies as much as possible. And what better way to use all that energy than to sing and dance!
We used the evening classroom to do a lot of singing and dancing this week! We started off with songs that requires a lot of energy and movement and ended with some nice calmer songs sitting down. Everyone was tired, but happy when we were done!

Gym
This week’s gym class we not only did our normal gym class, but we also practiced using the walking rope that we will use when going to the park. We have a lot of new students, so it’s important that we practice walking nicely and always holding the rope before we use outside in the streets.

Later in the week we also practiced using the rope outside! We even took a walk around the school outside on the street. Everyone walked nicely and was singing and having fun!

Music
We started this week’s music class by counting different objects. The teacher used three wooden sticks to make a triangle. She then took out a triangle (The musical instrument) and let the kids hit it to make a sound. We finished the lesson by singing “Ten little Indians”
