This week in our Music Lesson, the children became eager sound detectives! The teacher showed us three groups of pictures and asked us to find which picture starts with the sound “ド.” The classroom quickly filled with excited little voices as everyone couldn’t wait to share their answers. To continue the learning at home, the teacher gave us a fun mission. To look around the house and find objects that start with “ド”
今週のミュージックレッスンでは、子どもたちが熱心な音探偵になりました！先生が3つの絵のグループを見せて、「ド」の音で始まる絵を探してねと尋ねると、教室はすぐにワクワクした小さな声でいっぱいになりました。みんな答えを急いで伝えたい様子でした。お家でも学びを続けようと、先生は楽しいミッションをくれました。お家の中を探して「ド」で始まるものを見つけることです。
This month’s birthday celebrants are here! Happy happy birthday to all the celebrants!🎂 Our two celebrants in Aurora were thrilled and very excited for this week to come. They have been talking about it since last week.
今月のお誕生日の皆さんはこちらです！お誕生日おめでとう！🎂オーロラの二人のお誕生日の皆さんは、今週が来るのをとても楽しみに、ワクワクしていました。先週からずっとその話をしていました。
In our Unit of Inquiry, we had an exciting time making sports car crafts using recycled cardboard boxes! We had so much fun working together and turning simple materials into amazing cars. Cutting the cardboard was a little tricky for some of us, but with the support of our teachers and lots of teamwork, we did it!
We talked with our friends about which colors we wanted for our sports cars, shared ideas, and helped each other along the way. It was wonderful to see the children communicating, cooperating, and using their thinking skills to bring their creations to life.
Now we are moving on to our next Line of Inquiry: Rules help us get from one place to another safely. We started by watching a video about Transportation Safety and talking about what we noticed. We were full of ideas! We carefully observed the video, shared our thoughts, and even compared what we saw to what we see on the road when traveling from home to school or walking from school to the park.🚦
UOIの活動では、リサイクル段ボール箱を使ったスポーツカー工作に夢中になりました！皆で協力し合い、シンプルな材料を素晴らしい車に変える作業はとても楽しかったです。段ボールを切るのは少し難しかった子もいましたが、先生のサポートとチームワークでやり遂げました！
お友達とスポーツカーの色について話し合い、アイデアを共有し、助け合いながら進めました。子どもたちがコミュニケーションを取り、協力し合い、思考力を駆使して作品を形にしていく様子は素晴らしいものでした。
これからは次の探究テーマ「ルールは安全に移動する助けになる」に取り組みます。まずは交通安全の動画を見て気づいたことを話し合いました。アイデアが次々湧いてきました！動画を注意深く観察し、考えを共有し、家から学校へ、学校から公園へ歩く道中で目にする光景と動画の内容を比較しました。🚦
