This week felt like it was just a glimpse of something fun. We learned a new team game called dodgeball. The goal of this game is to dodge or catch balls thrown by the opposition while attempting to strike their opponents in the same way. We learned the rules of playing this game, worked together with our team, and thought of strategies to win it. After playing the game, we had a reflection and discussed how the same team won the game twice and what the other teams could have done to win. After the reflection, we played again, and this time, the other team won! Our reflection and restrategizing worked!

After playing dodgeball, we got to play and run around the school playground. We like playing pretend dinosaurs.

今週は、何か楽しいことを少しだけ垣間見たような気がしました。ドッジボールという新しいチームゲームを学びました。このゲームの目的は、相手が投げるボールを避けたりキャッチしたりしながら、同じように相手にボールをぶつけることです。ゲームのルールを学び、チームで協力し、勝つための戦略を考えました。ゲームを終えた後は振り返りを行い、同じチームが2度も勝った理由や、他のチームが勝つために何ができたかを話し合いました。振り返りの後、もう一度ゲームをすると、今度は相手チームが勝ちました！振り返りと戦略の見直しが功を奏したのです！

ドッジボールをした後は、学校の校庭で走り回って遊びました。恐竜ごっこをするのが好きです。

Craft

We made a box of flowers for our Mommies to celebrate Mother’s Day on Sunday. This activity also helps us develop our fine motor skills in rolling the paper to make flowers.

日曜日の母の日を祝って、お母さんたちのために花の箱を作りました。このアクティビティは、紙を巻いて花を作るという細かい運動能力の発達にも役立ちます。

Music

We are almost done with our first piece, as we have practiced playing the last line in the score. We use a Music Practice chart to keep track of the times we practiced playing the melodion at home.
