Welcome back to school, everyone. We are very excited to begin a new school year together in the Milky Way class. This year, we have one new friend joining us, and we are happy to welcome them into our class.
The children came in with lots of energy and curiosity, ready to play, explore, and learn together. Over the first few days, they have been getting comfortable in the classroom, spending time with their friends, and settling into our routines.
We are looking forward to a fun and meaningful year filled with learning, growth, and many happy moments together.
ミルキーウェイクラスへようこそ
みなさん、ご進級おめでとうございます。今年もミルキーウェイクラスで新しい1年が始まりました。今年は新しいお友だちが1人加わり、みんなで温かく迎えています。
子どもたちは元気いっぱいで、遊んだり、探究したり、学んだりすることを楽しみに登園してきました。最初の数日で、教室の環境やお友だちとの関わりに少しずつ慣れてきています。
これからの1年が、楽しく実りある時間になることを楽しみにしています。
Building Our Class Community
This week, we spent time talking about what kind of class we want to be. The children shared their ideas and helped create our essential agreements. These will guide how we learn, play, and take care of each other throughout the year.
We are also beginning to learn our daily routines, such as morning circle time, transitions, and classroom expectations. The children are doing a great job learning these new routines and working together.
クラスづくり
今週は、「どんなクラスにしたいか」についてみんなで話し合いました。子どもたちは自分の考えを伝え合いながら、クラスの約束を一緒に決めました。これらの約束は、これから1年間、みんなで気持ちよく過ごすための大切なルールになります。
また、朝のサークルタイムや活動の切り替えなど、日々の流れにも少しずつ慣れてきています。子どもたちは新しい環境の中でよく頑張っています。
Enjoying Spring Outdoors
We enjoyed spending time outside in the beautiful spring weather. The children played together, explored the park, and enjoyed seeing the cherry blossoms.
These outdoor experiences give the children time to move their bodies, play freely, and build friendships in a natural and relaxed way.
春の戸外遊び
暖かい春の気候の中で、戸外遊びをたくさん楽しみました。公園で遊んだり、桜を見たりしながら、のびのびと過ごしています。
外での活動は、体を動かすだけでなく、お友だちとの関わりを深めたり、自然に触れたりする大切な時間です。
Reading and Writing
This week, we began exploring reading and writing. The children looked at different simple books so we could see their current level and interests.
In writing, we practiced simple words and short sentences. Some children are beginning to write on their own, while others are building confidence step by step. We will continue to support each child at their own pace.
リーディングとライティング
今週は、リーディングとライティングの活動も始まりました。いくつかの簡単な本を読み、それぞれのレベルや興味を見ていきました。
ライティングでは、簡単な単語や短い文を書く練習をしました。自分で書き始めている子もいれば、少しずつ自信をつけている段階の子もいます。それぞれのペースに合わせてサポートしていきます。
Milky Way Star Project
We had a special craft activity where the children used origami paper to make stars. It was a little challenging, but they worked hard and showed great effort.
We then put all the stars together to create our own Milky Way. This display represents each child as an important part of our class.
ミルキーウェイ制作
折り紙を使って星を作る制作活動を行いました。少し難しい部分もありましたが、子どもたちは集中して一生懸命取り組んでいました。
完成した星を集めて、クラスみんなで一つの「ミルキーウェイ」を作りました。一人ひとりが大切な存在であることを表しています。
A Great Start
It has been a wonderful first week. The children are settling in well, building relationships, and becoming more comfortable in the classroom each day.
We are looking forward to continuing our learning together.

とても良い1週間のスタートとなりました。子どもたちは少しずつ環境に慣れ、お友だちとの関わりも深まってきています。
