Hello Everyone! 

It has been an amazing week for Rainbow. It’s nothing but lots of fun under the summer sun. The air was filled with children’s laughter as they played the day a way with friends. New friendships were born. And lasting beautiful memories were made.

レインボーにとって素晴らしい1週間でした。夏の太陽の下、楽しいことばかりでした。子どもたちは友だちと一緒に一日中遊び、空気は子どもたちの笑い声でいっぱいでした。新しい友情が生まれました。そしていつまでも続く素敵な思い出ができました。

Day 1 

We started the day by welcoming new friends who will be joining us for the week. We had 4 new friends in total. We danced and sang our songs indoors, then we had water play / pool. Once inside, kids made their craft. We stamped colorful fireworks on a black paper. 🎇 Kids did a great job making their art. It looked so cool and life like. 

この日は、今週から合流する新しい友人を迎えることからスタートしました。新しいお友達は全部で4人。室内でダンスをしたり、歌を歌ったりした後、プールで水遊びをしました。室内に戻ってからはクラフト作り。黒い紙にカラフルな花火をスタンプしました。子どもたちはとても上手に作品を作りました。まるで本物のようで、とてもかっこよかったです。

Day 2 

On our 2nd day we did our usual morning routine of dancing, singing and checking the attendance, then we all got ready to go play outside and have our water play / pool. On that day we shared the pool with Shooting Star and Milky Way class, our older brothers and sisters in school. YEY! The more the merrier. In the pool colorful balls were floating, so kids can do some fishing, they also enjoyed playing with bubbles and squirting the water gun. 💦🔫 Only trouble is kids love to get the teachers wet! 😂Oh! No.😅 But its all good. We all had a good laugh and it’s part of being with energetic, fun loving kids. After all the fun we had outdoors, we chilled inside our room, read some books and we made yet another craft. We made Sun Catchers. The sun catchers were shaped out of sea animals. Everyone patiently stuck colorful pieces of paper on a clear sticker. This craft helps the kids focus at the same time creative. After the hard work, everyone proudly showed off their creation to their friends. Look it’s a turtle, a fish, a dolphin or a starfish.

2日目の朝は、ダンス、歌、出席確認といういつもの日課をこなした後、みんなで外に出て水遊びやプールの準備をしました。その日は、シューティングスターとミルキーウェイのお兄さんお姉さんと一緒にプールに入りました。うん！多ければ多いほど楽しい。プールの中にはカラフルなボールが浮いていて、子どもたちは魚釣りをしたり、シャボン玉で遊んだり、水鉄砲で水を飛ばしたりして楽しみました。子どもたちは先生たちを濡らすのが大好きなのです！いやいや😅 でも大丈夫。エネルギッシュで楽しいことが大好きな子どもたちと一緒にいると、みんな大笑い。屋外で楽しんだ後は、部屋の中で本を読んだり、また別のクラフトを作ったりしました。サンキャッチャーを作りました。サンキャッチャーは海の動物の形をしています。色とりどりの紙片を透明なシールに貼っていきます。この工作は、子どもたちの集中力を高めると同時に、クリエイティブな作業でもあります。頑張った後は、みんな自慢げに自分の作品を友達に見せびらかしました。カメ、魚、イルカ、ヒトデ。

Day 3 

On the 3rd day, some new friends wanted to play outside on the playground. They wanted to go and try out the slide for the first time. So we decided to skipped our usual morning schedule to make room for what the kids wanted to do.Thankfully it wasn’t so hot that day. Everyone enjoyed going up and down the slide and running about in the playground. After, we changed into our swim wear, then had our water play/ pool. We had a water yoyo party. Kids had a blast playing with water yoyo’s. Indoors we played with clay and did our craft for the day. Our craft was to stamp using bubble wrap on either a seahorse or boat cut out (stencil). ⛵️🌊🎈🪀 It’s important to encourage kids to try out new things and find out what they can do and create. Luckily this group of kids are full of healthy curiosity that they are willing to try out any given craft or art project and the results are awesome.

3日目、新しい友達が外の遊び場で遊びたいと言い出しました。滑り台を初めてやってみたいというの です。ありがたいことに、その日はそれほど暑くありませんでした。みんな滑り台を上り下りしたり、運動場で走り回ったりして楽しんでいました。その後、水着に着替えて、水遊びやプールを楽しみました。ヨーヨーパーティーをしました。子どもたちはヨーヨーで遊びました。室内では粘土遊びと工作をしました。工作はプチプチを使って、タツノオトシゴかボートの型抜きをしました。⛵️🌊🎈🪀 子どもたちが新しいことに挑戦したり、自分に何ができるかを見つけて創造したりすることを促すのは大切なことです。幸運なことに、このグループの子どもたちは健やかな好奇心に満ちていて、どんな工作やアートプロジェクトにも喜んで挑戦し、その仕上がりは素晴らしいものでした。

Day  4 

On a rainy day like this Thursday we couldn’t do our usual Water play/Pool. So instead we spent a little more time playing with toys in the room, which the kids loved so much. Playing with toys indoors help kids socialize and they learn how to get along and share things. We also enjoyed singing and dancing our favorite songs, then we did our craft for the day, which was a seashell necklace 🐚. Kids were so focused on trying to thread the straw into the string. This kind of activity helps them concentrate and develops their fine motorskills. We also had time playing our favorite – clay. Then lastly we did some active play, kids balanced on beams and crawled under the hoops that where placed on the chairs. It’s great that kids can get some physical exercise even indoors.

木曜日は雨で、いつもの水遊びやプールはできませんでした。その代わり、部屋の中でおもちゃを使って遊びました。室内でおもちゃ遊びをすることで、子どもたちは社会性を身につけ、仲良く物を分け合うことを学びます。また、大好きな歌を歌ったり踊ったりして楽しんだ後、この日のクラフト、貝殻のネックレス🐚を作りました。子どもたちはストローを紐に通すことに集中していました。このような活動は、子どもたちの集中力を高め、運動能力を発達させます。また、大好きな粘土遊びもしました。梁の上でバランスをとったり、椅子の上に置かれたフープの下をくぐったり。室内でも体を動かすことができるのは素晴らしいことです。

Day 5 

Last day of our Summer School. We had such an eventful week. We are so glad Mr. Sun came out so we can swim in the pool and have our water play for the last time this summer, with friends. After all the fun and excitement outside, indoors we wanted to relax. So to cap it all off, we had a movie day. Using the projector we watched an educational show. Everyone was excited once we dimmed the room. It felt just like in a movie house. All we needed was just some popcorn?🍿 We watched Pocoyo, Bugs playing music in a band and about a train where we learned some counting. Kids got to relax while watching.

サマースクール最終日。今週も盛りだくさんの一週間でした。太陽が顔を出してくれたおかげで、プールで泳いだり、友達と一緒にこの夏最後の水遊びをしたりすることができました。外での楽しさと興奮の後、室内ではリラックスした時間を過ごしたいと思いました。その締めくくりとして、映画を観ました。プロジェクターを使って知育番組を鑑賞しました。部屋を暗くすると、みんな大興奮。まるで映画館にいるような気分でした。必要なのはポップコーンだけ🍾 ポコヨやバグズがバンドで音楽を演奏するシーンや、数え方を学ぶ汽車のシーンなどを観ました。子どもたちはリラックスしながら見ることができました。

Sadly our Summer School 2025 has come to an end. We had so much fun playing with old and new friends this past 2 weeks. We had a blast doing different summer craft, games and other activities. We were able to try some summer treats too. We will miss everyone as we will have a week long summer break. But don’t worry we will see you in no time. We Hope everyone will have an enjoyable summer vacation with family and loved ones. Take care and keep cool everyone. 😎

残念ながらサマースクール2025は終了しました。この2週間、新旧の友だちと一緒に遊ぶことができ、とても楽し かったです。夏休みの工作やゲーム、その他のアクティビティもとても楽しかったです。夏のおやつも試すことができました。今週から1週間は夏休みなので、みんなと会えなくなるのが寂しいです。でも、すぐに会えるから心配しないで。みんなが家族や 大切な人と一緒に楽しい夏休みを過ごせることを願っています。皆さん、お気をつけて。😎
