The summer program has finally begun! One of the most magical parts of starting a summer program is the opportunity to meet new friends. As kids arrive, they may find themselves in a room full of faces, both familiar and new. Meeting new friends can sometimes feel a little daunting, but with the support of our teachers and the warm welcoming environment of our school, the kids quickly learn that making friends can be an exciting and rewarding experience. It’s a fantastic chance to bond over shared interests, discover new games, and embark on creative projects.
いよいよサマープログラムが始まりました！サマー・プログラムを始めるにあたって最も魅力的なことのひとつは、新しい友達と出会うチャンスに恵まれることです。子どもたちがスクールに到着すると、見知った顔や新しい顔でいっぱいの部屋にいることに気づくかもしれません。新しい友達との出会いは、時に少し難しく感じるかもしれませんが、先生たちのサポートと、温かく迎え入れてくれる当校の環境があれば、子供たちは友達を作ることがエキサイティングで実りある経験になることをすぐに学ぶことでしょう。共通の興味によって絆を深め、新しい遊びを発見し、創造的なプロジェクトに取り組む素晴らしい機会です。
Water Play
We were always eager to play in the water, which is fantastic for bonding and building friendships. There is nothing quite like the joy of splashing around with new friends. As we ran around, the teachers showered us, filled the buckets, cups, cones, etc., from the mini pool water and floating toys, and shared laughter and excitement. We enjoyed fishing and were excited about who could get one first. We made toy ice cream and shared it with our teachers. We were a little curious and amazed by the sea animals we sketched to see if they could float, and to our surprise, they did!
子どもたちはいつも水の中で遊びたがっていました、それは絆を深め、友情を築くのに素晴らしいです。子どもたちが走り回ると、先生たちはシャワーを浴びせ、ミニプールの水や浮き輪のおもちゃでバケツやコップ、コーンなどを水でいっぱいにし、笑いと興奮を分かち合いました。
魚釣りを楽しみ、誰が一番に釣れるかで盛り上がりました。おもちゃのアイスクリームを作り、先生たちと分け合いました。私たちがスケッチした海の動物が浮くかどうか、子どもたちは興味津々で見ていましたが、なんと浮いたのです！
Pass the Ball Backward
We passed the ball backward to our next friend behind us until we finished. We liked it! It was a fun activity, and we wanted to do it again and again.
子どもたちは、最後のお友達まで、ボールを後ろにいる次のお友だちにパスしました。子どもたちはその遊びを気に入りました！楽しいアクティビティで、何度もやりたがっていました。
Bubble art
Bubble painting is a fun way to create art without a paintbrush! The teacher blew the colored water to make a bubble, and we used a spoon or our hands to place the bubble slowly on the paper without pressing it. We were eager to push it, and it was hard to control our emotions because we were fond of bubbles.
バブル・ペインティングは、絵筆を使わずにアートを作る楽しい方法です！先生が色水を吹いて泡を作り、子どもたちはスプーンや手を使って、泡を潰さずにゆっくりと紙の上に置きました。泡が好きな子どもたちは、押し潰したくてたまらず、感情をコントロールするのが大変でした。
Frozen Sea Animals
We froze the sea animals the day before we used them; they would use their hands to melt the ice and free the sea animals from the freezing world. Unique sea animals are waiting to be found inside each block of ice.
私たちは使用する前日に海の動物たちを凍らせました。子どもたちは手を使って氷を溶かし、海の動物たちを凍った世界から解き放ちます。それぞれの氷のブロックの中には、ユニークな海の動物たちが待っています。
Hot air balloon craft
We made a hot air balloon and fancy clouds. We created fluffy clouds that were too smooth to touch. We used the small colorful pompom balls and circle crumpled color paper and stuck. We loved the outcome; it was a beautiful hot air balloon.
子どもたちは気球とファンシーな雲を作りました。ふわふわの雲を作りました。小さなカラフルなポンポンボールと、丸くくしゃくしゃにした色紙を使って貼りました。きれいな気球ができあがりました。
