We went on a field trip to the Fossil Museum in Nagano as part of our prior knowledge experience for Unit 3, which focuses on living creatures. It was a fascinating visit—everyone was amazed by the specimens and the ancient lifeforms that once lived in Nagano. We also explored the history of Earth’s formation and the creatures that inhabited it long ago.

長野にある化石博物館へ校外学習に行きました。ユニット3のテーマは「生き物」なので、今回の見学は事前学習としてとても良い機会となりました。博物館では、長野に昔生息していた生き物たちの標本や化石に触れ、子どもたちはとても驚き、感動していました。また、地球の成り立ちや昔の生き物たちについて学ぶこともできました。

In addition, we started working on our art projects for an upcoming competition, which will be submitted next week. We’re excited to see the creativity our students will bring to their artwork!

また、来週提出予定のアートコンペティションに向けて、作品づくりにも取り組みました。子どもたちがどんな作品を描くのか、とても楽しみです！

We also welcomed a trial student who recently returned from Malaysia—she was once part of the ISN family. We missed you and are so happy to have you back, even just for a visit!

さらに、マレーシアから戻ってきた体験入学生も迎えました。彼女は以前ISNの生徒だったので、また会えてとても嬉しかったです！
