This week, we further expanded our knowledge of Japanese history by working in teams to create posters. Each team chose a historical era of Japan and elaborated on it in their own creative way. Students conducted research using videos, books, shared ideas, and by asking questions to deepen their understanding.

今週は、日本の歴史についての理解をさらに深めるため、チームでポスター作りに取り組みました。各チームが日本の歴史の時代を一つ選び、それぞれの方法で内容を広げて表現しました。子どもたちは、動画や本、意見の共有、人に質問することを通して、自分たちで調べ学習を行いました。

To strengthen our learning, we also visited Matsushiro Castle, where Takeda Shingen once stayed and planned his strategies. During the visit, we learned about the Battle of Kawanakajima between Takeda Shingen and Uesugi Kenshin. This experience helped students gain a deeper understanding of Japanese history and appreciate the beauty of Japanese culture.

学びをさらに深めるために、武田信玄がかつて滞在し、戦略を立てていた松代城を見学しました。見学では、武田信玄と上杉謙信による川中島の戦いについて学びました。この校外学習を通して、日本の歴史への理解を深めるとともに、日本文化の美しさを感じることができました。

The week was filled with snow, and we took the opportunity to enjoy outdoor play during most of our recess time, making the most of the winter weather.

また、今週は雪の日が多く、休み時間の多くを屋外で雪遊びをして楽しく過ごしました。
