This week, we enjoyed celebrating Setsubun. The children threw balls at the demon and chased it away while saying, “Demon, go away!”
At first, one of them was scared and hid behind their teachers, but as the activity continued, she grew more confident. By the end, she was able to shout “Demon, go away!” in loud, brave voices. It was a heartwarming moment that showed how much they have grown.

今週は節分の行事を楽しみました。
鬼に向かってボールを投げ、「Demon, go away！」と言いながら、みんなで力を合わせて鬼を追い払いました。

はじめは鬼が少し怖くて、先生の後ろに隠れる姿も見られましたが、次第に慣れ、最後には大きな声で「Demon, go away！」と言えるようになりました。
一人ひとりの気持ちの成長を感じられる、心温まる時間となりました。

Classroom Activities.
The children used glue and origami paper to make an “M” for Mouse.
They also enjoyed scrape painting, placing small amounts of paint on paper and spreading it with a card to discover different colors and patterns.　
By using different tools with paint, the children were able to explore and enjoy a variety of ways to express themselves.

教室での活動のようすです。
糊と折り紙を使って、アルファベット「M」の Mouth（ねずみ） を作りました。
また、紙の上に絵の具をところどころにのせ、カードでこすって描く Scrape Painting にも挑戦し、さまざまな模様や色の広がりを楽しみました。
絵の具を使う道具を変えながら、いろいろな描き方に触れ、楽しみながら表現することがで来たと思います。

In February, the wide playground at Nakano Campus is completely covered in snow, creating a beautiful winter wonderland.
Even in this snowy scenery, the Rainbow class children walked bravely across the snow, enjoying each step.

When they discovered footprints in the snow, they excitedly wondered, “Could these be a lion’s footprints?” letting their imaginations run wild as they explored the winter landscape.

2月の中野キャンパスは、広いグラウンド一面が雪に覆われ、白銀の世界が広がっています。
その中で、レインボーさんたちはたくましく、雪の上を一歩一歩踏みしめながら元気に楽しんでいました。

雪の上に残った足跡を見つけると、「ライオンの足あとかな？」と想像をふくらませる姿も見られ、冬の自然を感じながらのびのびと遊んでいます。
