This week, we had a Parent Observation Day.
Watched over by parents, grandparents, and family members, the Rainbow children showed excited smiles. We danced together and enjoyed a fun and happy time as a group.
During our craft activity, the children made oni (demon) masks.
Each mask was unique and adorable, and once finished, the children happily showed them to their friends and family.

今週は保育参観がありました。 保護者の方やおじいちゃん・おばあちゃんに見守られ、レインボーさんたちはうきうき、ワクワクした嬉しそうな表情を見せてくれました。一緒にダンスをしたり、みんなで楽しいひと時を過ごしました。 製作活動では、鬼のお面づくりに挑戦しました。 それぞれ個性あふれる、かわいらしい鬼のお面が完成し、できあがると嬉しそうにお友だちやおうちの方に見せていました。 ご参加いただき、ありがとうございました♪

This week, we also had a chance to visit the park.
On the way, the Rainbow children curiously watched the water in the rice fields that had frozen overnight. When they stepped on the ice, it cracked with a crack! sound, and they tried stepping on it again and again.
They also listened closely to the sound of flowing water and enjoyed playing energetically on the playground equipment at the park.

今週は、公園へ行く機会もありました。
道中では、田んぼの水が凍っている様子を不思議そうに眺めていたレインボーさんたち。足で氷を割ると「パリッ」と音を立てて割れ、その感触が楽しかったようで、何度も足を入れて試していました。
また、流れる水の音に耳をすませたり、公園の遊具で元気いっぱい体を動かして遊びました。

The children look forward to playing outside every day in the freshly fallen snow.
They enjoyed packing the snow to make different shapes and mixing it with colored water. As the colors slowly spread through the snow, the children watched with great interest.
Walking across the pure white playground can be a little challenging, but it is also a lot of fun.

降り積もった雪の中で、毎日の外遊びを楽しみにしている子どもたちです。
雪をぎゅっと固めて形を作ったり、色水を使って雪と混ぜ混ぜして遊びました。色がじんわりとにじんでいく様子を、興味津々で見ていました。
真っ白なグラウンドを歩くのは少し大変ですが、それもまた楽しいひとときですね。
