Although this year’s rainy season has brought less rain than usual, this week we had some rainy days and cooler temperatures, so there were times when we couldn’t enjoy pool play.
Even so, the children were full of energy!
They had a great time dancing to music and making crafts indoors.

今年の梅雨は雨が少なめですが、今週は雨が降ったり気温が低かったりして、プール遊びができない日もありました。
それでも子どもたちは元気いっぱい！
音楽に合わせてダンスをしたり、クラフト作りをしたりと、室内でも楽しく過ごしていました。

On hot days, the children have fun playing energetically in the pool with water guns.
In the school garden, frogs are hopping around everywhere!
The Rainbow class kids are totally absorbed in trying different ways to catch them.
Some try copying the frogs’ jumps, while others spot red dragonflies and observe them closely, saying, “Look! They’re fluttering!”
It’s wonderful to see how they’re noticing and learning the unique features of these little creatures.

暑い日には、子どもたちはプールで水鉄砲を使って元気に遊んでいます。
園庭にはカエルがあちこちにぴょんぴょん！
レインボーの子どもたちは、さまざまな方法でカエルを捕まえようと夢中です。
ジャンプをまねしてみたり、赤とんぼを見つけては「ヒラヒラしてる！」とじっくり観察したり…。
小さな生き物たちの特徴をしっかりとつかんでいる様子が見られました。

During music class, the children had a chance to explore some new instruments.
“They come in all different shapes!” “Let’s try tapping them!” “Wow, they sound different!”
The children were full of curiosity, enjoying the unique shapes and sounds of each instrument.

ミュージックレッスンでは、新しい楽器にふれる時間がありました。
「いろんな形があるね」「たたいてみよう！」「あ、音がちがう！」と、子どもたちは興味津々で音の違いや形のおもしろさを楽しんでいました。

In their daily lives, the children are growing little by little.
We can now see them starting to take on more responsibilities, such as getting ready on their own and helping with cleaning. See you next week!
