This week, the children created their own Ohinasama and Odairisama for Hinamatsuri.
Using origami paper, they folded the kimono freely, trying their best to shape it like traditional clothing.

They carefully glued on different parts and drew the faces, and little by little, each doll became colorful and unique. It was wonderful to see their individual personalities shine through in their beautiful creations.

今週はひな祭りに向けて、お雛様とおだいり様の制作を行いました。
着物は折り紙を使い、それぞれが工夫しながら着物らしく折ろうとする姿が見られました。

顔や飾りなどのさまざまなパーツを糊で丁寧に貼り、表情を描き加えていくうちに、少しずつ個性あふれる華やかなお雛様とおだいり様が出来上がりました。

We also participated in a Hublic event.
The children enjoyed dancing together and listening to the powerful sounds of the large instruments.
When the Anpanman song played, the Rainbow class children responded right away, happily moving their bodies to the music.

Hublicのイベントにも参加しました。
みんなで楽しくダンスをしたり、大きな楽器の迫力ある音に耳を傾けたりと、さまざまな体験を楽しみました。
アンパンマンの歌が流れると、すぐに反応してうれしそうに体を動かすレインボーさんたちの姿も見られました。

As the snow melted and the weather became warmer, the children tried flying kites.
Even though they were handmade, the kites flew very well. The children ran around the wide field again and again, happily watching their kites soaring high in the sky.

They also discovered that the kites would fall when there was no wind. Saying, “There’s wind over there!” they began to notice the direction of the wind and adjusted where they ran. It was great to see them enjoying and learning from nature through play.

雪がとけ、暖かな陽気の中で凧あげに挑戦しました。
手作りの凧でしたが、とてもよく空に上がり、子どもたちは広いグラウンドを何周も走りながら、空高く飛ぶ凧をうれしそうに見上げていました。

また、風がないと凧が落ちてしまうことにも気づき、「あっちに風があるよ！」と声をあげながら、風向きを感じ取って遊ぶ姿も見られました。自然の力を体いっぱいに感じながら、のびのびと楽しんでいます。
