After the New Year holidays, cheerful voices of the children returned to our school on the 8th.
It was a joyful start, filled with smiles as the children reunited with their friends and teachers.

This week, we had plenty of snow and enjoyed playing in it to the fullest.
During sledding time, we saw lovely moment as the children invited each other by saying, “Let’s do it together!” and “I’ll push you!”, showing their growing sense of kindness and cooperation.

On the slippery hill, the children climbed up on all fours and happily slid down again and again.
They also enjoyed making snowballs and creating various shapes, and their pretend play has gradually shifted from mud and sand to a wintery world of snow as the seasons change.

年末年始のお休みが明け、スクールには8日から、子どもたちの元気な声が戻ってきました。
久しぶりに会うお友だちや先生と、笑顔いっぱいのスタートです。

今週は雪がたくさん積もり、思いきり雪遊びを楽しみました。
そり遊びでは「いっしょにやろう！」「押してあげる！」と、お友だちを誘ったり助け合ったりする姿が見られ、ほほえましい関わりがありました。

つるつるの丘では、四つん這いになって一生懸命登り、そこから滑ることを何度も楽しんでいました。
また、雪を丸めてさまざまな形を作るなど、これまで泥や砂で楽しんでいたおままごとも、季節の移り変わりとともに雪の世界へと広がっています。

The children brought snow they had played with outside into the classroom and enjoyed creative activities such as painting it with watercolors and decorating it with branches and autumn leaves they had collected earlier in the fall.
After finishing their creations, they placed them back outside and later enjoyed observing how the shape of the snow and the colors changed, wondering, “What happened?”

This is a winter activity unique to three-year-olds that allows them to experience the connection between the seasons.

外で遊んだ雪をお部屋に持ち帰り、絵の具で色をつけたり、秋に集めた紅葉の葉っぱや枝を使って飾りつけをしたりと、創作活動をじっくり楽しみました。
完成した作品は再び外へ置き、帰る頃には雪の形や色がどのように変化しているかを「どうなったかな？」と観察し、その変化にも興味をもっていました。

季節のつながりを感じられる、3歳児ならではの冬のあそびです。

We look forward to enjoying the season by becoming familiar with snow and ice and making the most of winter-specific activities.

この時期に雪や氷と楽しく関わりながら、季節ならではの遊びを思いきり楽しんでいきたいと思います。
