Hello everyone! Time flies! We have to say goodbye now to the wonderful month of April!👋
みなさん、こんにちは！素晴らしい4月の 時が経ちます！
We only had three days of school this week, yet our boys and girls did a great job in being little artists! We created two amazing crafts for two special days of May which are Children’s Day on 5th and Mother’s Day on 10th.
今週は3日間しかありませんでしたが、男の子と女の子は小さなアーティストとして素晴らしい作品を作りました。 5月5日のこどもの日と10日の母の日の特別な日のために2つの素晴らしい作品を作りました。
For Children’s Day, we made a mini Koinobori (Japanese flying carp) using toilet paper rolls. To design the fish, the students peeled off the backing of the double-sided tape inside the toilet paper roll for them to stick the tail of the fish which is made of colorful tissue paper. Next, they glued the scales around the toilet paper roll which are made of origami paper. Lastly they stuck the googly eyes on it. Our kids were very happy with their finished Koinobori craft!🎏
子どもの日のために、私たちはトイレットペーパーの芯を使用して、ミニこいのぼりを作りました。 魚をデザインするために、芯の内側にある両面テープの裏紙をはがしてカラフルな花紙で魚の尻尾に見立てて貼り付けました。 次に、折り紙で芯の周りにうろこを接着し、 最後に目を付けました。 子供たちは、完成したこいのぼりにとても満足していました！🎏
For Mother’s Day, Canyon students made a present for their moms which is a picture frame!🖼 They drew on the frame using crayons 🖍 and painted it with watercolor🎨. They drew some hearts, butterflies, and flowers! Finally, they pasted their picture and a heart with a message “Happy Mother’s Day!”. Advance Happy Mother’s Day to all you!👩👧👦💖
母の日には、クラスの生徒たちがお母さんに額縁のプレゼントを作りました！🖼クレヨンを使ってフレームに描き🖍その上に水彩で塗りました🎨。 ハート、蝶、花などを描きました！ 最後に、「母の日おめでとう！」というメッセージを添えて、写真とハートを貼り付けました。 お母さんいつもありがとう！👩👧👦💖
Making arts and crafts are beneficial for kids because it consists of moving fingers and hands, they help in developing fine motor skills. Simple actions like holding a paintbrush, coloring with crayons, and pasting help strengthen their muscles and improve their control. It also helps them express their feelings and be creative!
作品を作ることは、指や手を動かすため、子どもの細かい運動能力の発達にとてもいい事です。 絵筆を持ったり、クレヨンで着色したり、貼り付けたりするなどの簡単な作業で、筋肉を強化し、コントロールを向上させることができます。 それはまた、彼らが自分の気持ちを表現し、創造的になるのを促します！
In UOI lesson, we just finished the first LOI: Our bodies look different from others. Our last activity was to compare the size of our feet. Who has smaller/bigger feet? After making our footprints, we measured our feet using cube blocks and found out that four of our friends have the same feet size which are 7 cubes long and three of them measure 8 cubes long.👣We can be the same and different!
UOIのレッスンでは、最初のLOIを終了しました。私たちの体は他の人とは異なって見えます。 私たちが最後学んだのは、足のサイズを比較することでした。 足が小さい/大きいのは誰ですか？ 足跡を作った後、立方体のブロックを使用して足を測定したところ、4人の友達が同じ足のサイズの7立方体の長さで、そのうち3人が8立方体の長さであることがわかりました。👣私たちは同じで、異なります。
In phonics, we learned about the letter C and its sound. We had words that begin with the letter C such as cat, cow, cake, candle, caterpillar, and car. We also shaded all the boxes with the letter C and got the mystery letter!
フォニックスでは、文字Cとその音について学びました。 猫、牛、ケーキ、ろうそく、毛虫、車など、Cの文字で始まる単語がありました。 また、すべての枠にCの文字で影を付けｃを見つけることができました。
Our boys and girls had so much fun playing at the park, but the most exciting for them was playing “Get the Tail”! We put ribbons at the back of their pants as tails. We have some goals in running with the tail. First we had to run around making sure our tail was not touching the ground and we did it! When we played Get the Tail, the teachers had to be the “it” and take the students’ tail. Once the teachers got their tails, the students had to help us in getting others’ tails. So our kids had to run as fast as they could if they didn’t want to lose their tails. That was a good game and exercise for our kids! 🏃♀️🏃
男の子と女の子たちは公園で遊ぶのがとても楽しかった様です。ですが最もエキサイティングだったのは「Get theTail」をすることでした！ ズボンの後ろにリボンを尻尾としてつけます。 尻尾が地面に触れないように注意して逃げなくてはいけません。 そして保育士は子どもたちの尻尾を取りに追いかけます。 保育士が尻尾を取れたら、取られた子は保育士と手を繋ぎまた他の子の尻尾を一緒に取りにいきます。 なので、子どもたちは、一生懸命走りました。 子どもたちはとても楽しめていい運動になりました！ 🏃♀️🏃
One of our friends in Canyon class just celebrated his 4th birthday!🎉 We sang a Happy Birthday song for him🎶, he stuck 4 candles on the cake card, and gave him a birthday card! Happy happy birthday to our dear cutie!🎈🎈🎈🎈
クラスの友達の1人が4歳の誕生日でした！🎉私たちは彼のためにハッピーバースデーの歌を歌いました🎶、彼はケーキカードに4本のキャンドルを貼り、バースデーカードを貰いました！ 大切なお友達。お誕生日おめでとう！🎈🎈🎈🎈
