Campus Recycling Center: Rainforest 10/07-10/11 – 0歳から中学部までの一貫した国際教育のインターナショナルスクールオブ長野（ISN）

As the Rainforest class deepens their inquiry and gains a bolder understanding of the topic 3R, they are now more motivated to apply what they have learned daily. One of the inquirers proposed putting up a recycling center on the campus, this way they can also encourage not just their friends from the class, but also their friends from other classes, teachers, and parents to practice Reducing, Recycling, and Reusing. They all worked hard together in decorating the boxes and where their recycling center is located, and thinking about how they can further inform their schoolmates about their learning.

3Rsというトピックへの理解が深まるにつれ、学んだことを実践しようという意欲が高まっています。その一つに、子ども達から、園内にリサイクルセンターを設置する提案がありました。そうする事で、クラスの友達だけでなく、他のクラスの友達、先生、保護者の方にも、リデュース、リサイクル、リユースを身近で実践できるよう促すことができます。箱の飾り付け方法やリサイクル・センターの設置場所、また、自分たちの学習について、他のクラスの友達にも知らせるにはどうしたらよいかを考えました。

We hope this simple way will encourage others to be curious about the 3Rs and practice them to save the earth!

このISNリサイクル・センターを通して、他の人々が3Rに興味を持ち、地球を守るきっかけになりますように！

The Rainforest class has been so blessed to have the chance to have 2 bus trips this week: One with Milky Way of Minami Campus, and one is their trip to Seneco, the City’s recycling center.

The Bus trip with Milky Way was nothing but a lot of fun! Both classes were able to spend time together, have a good bond, and experience making friends with kids their age. The two classes ventured together to look for animals that were on the I Spy card, ate their special lunch, played, and many more! We have captured every moment of the trip and we are excited to look back and remember how happy we were as we make preschool special memories.

今週、レインフォレスト・クラスは2つのバス旅行に出かけました：一つは南松本キャンパスの年長クラス、ミルキーウェイとのバス遠足。もう一つは、シンエコ・プラザ安曇野への社会科見学です。

バス遠足では、ミルキーウェイとペアで手をつなぎ行動を共にしました。まずは、お互いに自己紹介。お互いに名前を呼び合ってお喋りをしながら展望台へ上ったり、動物園では、６つのグループに分かれ、カードに描かれた動物を探しながら楽しく回りました。そして一番楽しみにしていたお弁当では、青空広がる秋晴れの下でおいしくいただきました。また一つ、プリスクールでの特別な思い出を作る事が出来ました。写真を見返しながら、楽しかった思い出を振り返るのが楽しみです。

The second trip was connected to our Unit of Inquiry. The things that we have seen on this trip have further given every one of us the motivation to save the earth by applying the method of the 3Rs.

次に、シンエコ・プラザ安曇野では、紙類や家電の収集やリサイクル前の処理の方法を見に行きました。フォークリフトに乗せてもらったり、テレビや洗濯機の解体の様子を見たりし、私たちの見えていない「処分した後」の様子がわかりました。それは、私たち一人ひとりに、3Rsの方法を応用して地球を守ろうという意欲をさらに与えてくれる経験になりました。
